I purchased this for our family, Christmas 2013. Over the holidays, I sat down with the kids (9 & 4) and began The Ten Commandments. My oldest (daughter) stayed well engaged with the history and story of mankinds early beginnings throughout the 3 1/2 hour film. We both tremendously enjoyed it. I sincerely recommend it to any father (or mother) to entertain, while educating their little ones with two of Hollywood's finest efforts. There was even a day that the good of Christ was told without political correctness, though having a bit of "Hollywood" thrown in, with man's involvement. Go get this excellent value, high quality BluRay deal of what should be an all American family must-have. And enjoy...

I'm 27 and I grew up on both of these movies on VHS :) I used to watch them every year and best buy had the best deal...both features, together! I got the movie in less than a week and I was amazed at the quality. Ben Hur is my favorite out of the two and it looked like it was just filmed. Amazing! Definitely go with the double feature :)

It gives the story of Jesus. Judah Ben Hur's best friend Mesiah asks Judah to join him and Judah says no. Judah's sister did something bad and were sentenced to life in the dungeon and Judah is made a slave. The sister and Mother later get lepracy and are kicked out to live on the streets. Later, when Jesus dies, they are blessed with a great surprise.

I really expected my DVD of "Moses/Ben-Hur" to be like most classic movies I've seen that were supposed to be upgraded to HD,with a blurry picture with lots of color.Was I wrong.The movies look like they were filmed in Blu-ray.Two great movies in Blu-ray at a great price.These stories remind us what ideals our nation was built upon.

These two films are classics made back in a time when there was no computer generated images (CGI). Huge sets where buit and thousands of extras where used. The result is an amazing motion picture. Great acting by Charleton Heston & Yul Brenner. One of the best parts is NO comercials like when it's on network TV.

These are 2 of my top 5 all-time movies, beautiful on blu-ray and the special features are fantastic - full commentary from directors and actors on both movies - I don't own a lot of blu-rays (or dvd's for that matter) but these 2 are worth being in my library. They don't make movies like these anymore.

The blu-ray clarity and sound gives a new perspective to old classics. With both Ben-hur and The Ten Commandments, I experienced more than just a rehash of these movies. There is just something new in the movie viewing experience when watching a movie you watched years before but only in the standard definition version. If you haven't revisited these movies in some time and want to experience them from the blu-ray perspective, you could do no wrong in seeing these classics for another go around the way they should have been seen the first time!

I love watching the movies on Blu-Ray, the picture is amazing and I love watching them with the director's commentary. The behind the scenes ideas and situations that I never knew about, really adds to my overall enjoyment. Its like getting four movies.

Except for the lack of extras on this double pack it is a great pairing. I bought it at such a great price I will watch for now, and get the diamond edition later. A real bargain for those just wanting to see these movies w/o extras.

Both of these movies were ahead of their time when they were made for cinematography and big budget movies. If you have seen these movies before, then this Blu-Ray set will give you a better appreciation. And to get both together is a steal.

Both of these movies reminds me of Christmas as a child. These are classic films that never get old, even though the special effects are dated, both films are family friendly movies without being over the top silly. There is a great message in both of these films and it gives kids and teens to see that older films are not all boring and dull. I wanted both of these films before it was too late and you could no longer buy them.

It's the classic tale of Moses and the Ten Commandments matched with Ben Hur, how can you go wrong!!! When I saw both of these movies on Blue Ray for a mere $7.99 how could I resist! I would recommend this packet to anyone!!!

This BluRay came as a two movie set for one low price and the clarity of the picture coupled with the amazing sound quality made this the most awesome way to view these movies. I am completely satisfied with my purchase.

As a child in the 6th grade, this was the second film I saw on the big screen. It was a school field trip. I loved the movie then and it is still a great classic. I believe this should always be one of the best 100 films.

If you want to see two of his best...this combo is the perfect purchase. Two fantastic movies. Let the kids watch and let them see how the big movies use to be done. These are timeless.

I've been looking for this movie for long time. didn't buy before because was a little pricey. But this was a great find. 2 great movies for an excellent price, plus there blu-ray.

These are truly Masterpiece Collection movies to have. 2 movies in one in Blue Ray and great price to own it. Thanks for the special price.

These classics have never looked or sounded better. Worth the upgrade from DVD. And certainly worth a viewing if you haven't seen them in a while.

anyone who grew up watching these movies will love it now that it is in blue ray. now you don't have to wait till Easter. you can watch it anytime.
