Haven't got a chance to watch whole lot movies but so fat it had worked satisfactory. I haven't tested 3D movie yet which one thing I would like to check out as soon as I get an opportunity. Overall nice product.

Great colors. Does require darker room though. Noise is bit distracting while the projector is running, but I am guessing that would be normal with other projectors too.

This is a decent projector for beginners. Picture quality is great Fits great on a 120 screen. Only issue is on its own it makes a noise and the volume shuts off. I can't get this fixed. Very frustrating

I baught two projectors 3LCD epson 2045 and benq 2050: The main features we buy the projector is the image quality with contrast and how feasible on spending. Lets compare features: 1. Brightness: Epson 2045 is slight bright in terms of pictures which somtimes flashes light during bright scenes makes it bit flickering yuor eyes and can be reduced with eco and epson super white on feature and cinematic mode as they have 4 types of mode and benq has 3: But Benq is slightly pleasing to watch . 2. Black levels: Dynamic colour mode in epson 2045 will bring balck levels close to 70% that of benq. Benq is the champ here clearly. 3. Colours: Benq has a sligh blues in vivid and real picture only appears in cinematic mode. Epson 2045 has an edge in colours 4. ambient lighting: Epson has bright cinema mode which helps watching during ambient lighting 5. Contrast : Benq is 10% crisper than epson which gives good details in benq. 6. Bulb replacement; Benq is 250 $ bulb and after 4000hrs in normal and 6000 in eco . epson is jus 75$ after 6000normal and 7500 $ but again epson 3lcd may fade overtime may be 2 or 3 replacement but if you weight the total cost it would be jus 150$ compared to that of benq 750$ for 3 replacefments. this is lets lay 5-8 year predictions. never know what technology is out by then for that cost. 6 . Advanced fetaures in epson than benq but no matter what benq has slight edge on epson 2045. 7 . Didn see rainbow so far except i move my head very fast to test it . saw very rarely while testing! I would recommend benq if you soley only want to watch movies in benq . Beats epson by a inch . superior cinematic picture

This is my first projector and I'm really happy with it. I can't believe what I've been missing out on. The picture is fantastic, even the black levels in darker type movies are great. I have been using it for movies, TV shows and games with a Xbox The reviews and comparisons out there on different projectors were mindblowing. I was torn between this one and the MH530 fhd($550), I decided to spend $200 more on this projector and do not regret it. I project it on the wall and I still get a great picture quality. Also getting a projector with keystone adjustment is crucial and this one worked wonders.I definitely recommend this projector to anyone who are planning to buy a budget projector.

I used it for my small bedroom which is about 10x10. It’s really good. Only downside, more suitable for low light rooms.
