I bought this monitor to be a second screen while working on my laptop. It works perfectly for everything I need it to do. Picture is clear, no dead pixels, color seems fine. I can't seem to figure out how to make sound come out of the speakers (the reason it didn't get five stars), but that doesn't bother me because I wasn't looking for a monitor with speakers anyway. This is a great monitor for the price. I'm extremely happy with my purchase.

Easy set up, multiple connection set up, great price, does what it supposed to do.

If you are looking for a quality HD monitor for a low price, then I highly recommend BenQ’s GL2580H. What you get from purchase is the monitor, a stand, and an HDMI cable. The monitor offers sharp image quality and colors with an impressive screen size. Adding to this is the thinness of the screen border, which makes it so no space on your desk is wasted, and that you will mostly be seeing the screen’s image. This monitor is great for just everyday use, and the low response time makes more taxing tasks such as 3d modelling and gaming easy for the display. Additionally, it comes with a few video inputs to use. If you play games on both computer and console, these multiple inputs make switching between them very easy. The settings for the monitor also feature light filters which reduce the strain on your eyes if you’re going to be using the monitor for long periods of time, which you may find helpful if you use your computer for working, school, or just play games all night. The stand that it comes with i easy to put on and take off, which is good if later on you decide to wall mount the monitor or need to take your computer setup somewhere. With the great screen quality and all the extra features, this monitor is priced very cheaply at $130. While there are not any major problems that come with this monitor, it has some issues that you should know before purchasing. This model does not come with speakers, however it has a jack for you to get audio using either headphones or external speakers. Also, the monitor’s stand does not offer many adjustment angles which may make it harder for you to find a comfortable viewing angle if your chair’s height is not adjustable. I also think that the stand takes up a bit too much space and makes my desk feel more cramped, but if your desk is bigger you may not have this problem. The factory settings may also not be what you like, but this is a simple fix In summary, if you need a monitor with solid visuals, good features, and a low price tag, BenQ’s GL2580H is a purchase you will not regret.

As I stay up late I realize it doesn’t bother my eye unlike other monitors. The quality is great.
