    Best buy gift card in gift box

    My birthday gift for my grandson was late. Then, when it did arrive 3 weeks later, the envelope had no gift card, just information on the gift card and a receipt for some unknown person for something else. The original package was opened and relabeled.

    Not a good Card

    I am Total Member of Best Buy. Don't buy this card. If you ever need to return a product and use this card, it will take up to seven days to return your money. Also, it will be removed from your account automatically once payment is processed. This is dangerous because if you don't keep your card money will be gone. This card is supposed to work as cash, but it doesn't when it comes to returning your money it takes for ever. Be careful.

    Paper-Based Card Presents Issues

    The design is classy, and I appreciate that Best Buy tried to go eco-friendly by making the card out of paper, but that feature rendered my $50 gift card completely unusable since it got wet before I had a chance to redeem it. The scratch-off strip over the card number and PIN bonded with the paper fibers, so even after getting the card completely dry, removing the scratch-off strip also removed all the numbers needed to redeem the card. I won the card in a raffle a couple years ago, so easy come easy go, I guess, but it would have been nice to get to use it. Although it's probably slightly less environmentally-friendly, I'd recommend going with a plastic gift card unless you know for sure that the recipient will be using it right away.

    Lost gift card

    Lost gift cards. Asked for cancellation of gift cards totaling $350. But my credit card was billed for it. The gift cards are lost in transit. They are lost in a FedEx warehouse for 10 days! The customer service rep was useless and gave me a dedicated number to call. The call went right back to original customer service number. A simple cancellation or promise of a refund is all I needed. I would have repurchased the gift card!

    I ordered the gift card the December 1st. Gave it a course as a gift for Christmas for a friend's child. It is not working. It's saying invalid. I tried to reach out three different times the last time I sent them the pin number and then of course technical difficulties and was not reconnected with another person to resolve my issue. In regards to another product that my family bought from Best buy was a very bad experience as well. I will never use Best buy again and I highly suggest the same for everybody else

    LOST GIFT CARDS

    I purchased these cards for my mother for Christmas. She has Dementia, triggered by the death of her husband, our father. She loves watching the old shows they watched. Her TV stopped working. Now we can't get her the TV because you can't get her the cards to be able to get the TV. If you can't get them, give me a refund and I will get her a Visa card,

    I ordered a gift card for $500 and the card arrived and it was for $50. I have made SEVERAL calls and still not resolved. Their customer service is absolutely HORRIBLE. I asked to be transferred and the individual refused to transfer me(he was not understanding). I now need to go thru Citibank for their help.

    I was supposed to get these the day before Christmas but that didn’t happen. I had to spend more money so they would get a gift on Christmas. The cards didn’t arrive until after Christmas. And they would not let me cancel the order. Not happy at all with this. Won’t be ordering any more gift cards anytime soon.

    I ordered five Best Buy gift cards online for Christmas gifts; this is the second gift card I have been made aware was never activated upon receipt. Currently on hold (again!) with customer service to try to get it resolved. Because I just dealt with this with another card last week I know that unfortunately, they cannot activate the cards that we already have; they will have to submit the issue to claims and reissue another gift card by mail, which is expected to arrive in 7-10 business days. Extremely frustrating. At this point, this is not a safe bet for a gift.

    Ordered a bunch of different gift cards on November 29 but for some reason this “Best Buy” gift card was sent separate via UPS (the others were sent by USPS, which I received a week later). It’s now December 15th and there has been no movement in the tracking since December 4th. I called customer service on the 13th and was told a replacement would be sent but until now there is no record of a replacement being sent. I needed to mail this gift card out today but because it’s obviously not going to get here in time I need to go to the store and buy another card in order to send out today. I want a refund! So disappointed!

    Do not buy online. The gift card I bought 7/31/24 was not activated when the recipient tried to use it. BB won’t activate it, but they have been paid, as my account clearly shows. I talked to 5 customer service people 4 days ago. The last one said it would be cleared up within 48 hours. Nothing. Very dissatisfied.

    Gift card works, but if you're hoping to have a nice box to present the gift card in, look elsewhere. Mine arrived half crushed thanks to its flimsy construction and a huge, ugly sticker on it from when it was processed at the distribution center or wherever. Ended up just putting it in a separate gift card holder.

    You CAN NOT use this card online and customer service doesn’t know anything about this card except expiration and balance. Total let down on my son’s birthday.

    No way to activate spent two days on phone several calls to fix problem. Bought two gift cards in store no problem. Bought two cards on line and will not work. Never again!

    Don’t make the mistake of ordering these online mine got stolen by the post office employee never arrived just says awaiting delivery scan and that it was out for delivery but says never delivered

    I ordered a 100 dollar gift card for a Christmas gift which was delivered by UPS on Jan 3rd and my son just tried to use it and he was declined. Not only is the money not there apparently but my son was humiliated. Very bad for a store I thought was reliable.

    I ordered this card online. It showed up not activated. It took 73 minutes and literally 15 people to finally get my money refunded. What a JOKE of customer service especially at what is supposed to be their highest level of customer service!!!!
