Tried another cord to be certain it wasn’t the car but unfortunately seems to be an issue with the cord itself.

If you try to use device while plugged in the cord is rigid & pulls on the connection. It dings on & off & may even be damaging the device plug. Go back to the old ones

I have never seen such a bad-quality lightning cable. Most cables last 1-2 years for me with no problem. Do not recommend this.

The A connector broke off into the Ipad socket. This cable only lasted for just a little over 30 days. Was delivered on 9/18/24 and it broke 0n 10/25/24. I will never buy again.

The cord only stays connected if you literally don’t move it. Grab your phone and CarPlay has to start all over. Very annoying. Gas station cord I got in replacement is working fine.
