Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I usually use AudioQuest Ocean cables, like my xbox for example as I need the latest HDMI support with these next generation console let alone my HTPC as well, and recently got another next gen console for the other room which is a ps5. I needed something cheaper but can support HDMI 2.1, and what an Excellent cable, especially for the price. I use it with my PS5 and my 120hz 4K display and it transmitted picture and audio perfectly without zero issues. Couldnt tell a difference between thr audioquest or the bestbuy essentials cable honestly except in terms of high-fidelity audio.

The other cable was causing random hdmi signal handshake issues, along with a brief black screen while using an xbox series x console. The new cable, thankfully, appears to have fixed the issue.

Solid cable that does the job

I have used cheaper cables in the past and they are just not as good quality and there are glitches and delays. This is a solid product.

Best Buy essentials have a good reputation for durability, so I expect this cable will have a long and useful life.
