Excelent length for charging at the desk if the receptacle is at the bottom near the floor or on the floor. Also perfect for plugin at the desk and sitting on the sofa without having the cable be tight and short.

I recently bought the 6-foot USB-C to USB-C Braided Charge-and-Sync Cable in black, and I've been really impressed with it. The first thing I noticed was the braided nylon exterior, which feels much more durable than the standard plastic cables that often fray or crack over time. The 6-foot length is also perfect for my needs, giving me plenty of slack to use my device comfortably while it's charging.

Best Buy Essential products have been steadily increasing in both value and quality for a few years, and I'm happy to say that this trend continues here. It might seem odd to review a USB-C cable, but I believe that USB cables are some of the most confusing and misunderstood tech products on the market. The average consumer likely has limited knowledge on the actual technical specification of a USB cable, and especially for USB-C cables. This is the fault of the USB-IF (USB Implementers Forum; which is the non-profit corporation comprised of representatives from the companies that develop the USB spec.). One of the many issues with how the spec is defined, is that there is no actual requirement for manufacturers to label or otherwise make clear what the actual functionality of the cable is. The Features section states that this cable is USB-IF certified, though I was unable to confirm whether or not that is true. The Certified Product list that the USB-IF maintains seems to mostly cover High-Speed cables or more advanced implementations of the USB-C spec, so I won't necessarily give negative marks for not being able to find this cable on the list. If someone from the Best Buy Essentials team is reading this, I would love the TID for the cable, just out of curiosity. Despite not being to verify the authenticity of the cable certification, this appears to be a solid cable. It's exactly what you expect from Best Buy Essentials, in that it provides the functionality that you expect, at a reasonable price. The quality of the braid is nice and does not hang or snag on other surfaces or fabrics. The connector sits snug in the port, which is nice to see as you can often find cheap cables with flimsy connectors that do not seat properly. The plastic support that connects the physical connector to the cable is sufficient, though I wouldn't be making the cable do any advanced yoga stretches or bends. Overall, I'm quite pleased with the cable, keep up the good work Essentials team!

Love the length and the fact that it’s braided so it will hold up longer in the long run as opposed to one made from cheap rubber/plastic that will break down and fall apart over time.
