Works great for my iPhone but not for my iPad. The plug will not stay connected to charge my iPad. I have to recheck it over and over again. It can be plugged in for an hour and only charge a few percentage points or not at all. It is not the iPad as I have other chargers that work just fine. I do like how heavy the cord is as I have cats who like to chew my charging cords.

I ordered on 6/25/25 and I just got it yesterday 7/3/25 Took way, way too long to be delivered. I will say the product was exactly what I wanted/needed, so I am satisfied with it.

The cord is decent but needs improved durability

The one end of the cord seems to fall apart real easy with use. The length is good and it charges decent.

Unwieldy due to weight and stiffness

My old 9’ cable broke and I was leaving the next day on a trip so swung by Best Buy to grab a new one. One would think one cable would be pretty much the same as another but I’ve discovered this is about twice as heavy as my old one and the cable is also much stiffer. The weight and stiffness make it cumbersome to travel with and the stiffness makes it unwieldy to use as my primary cable as home too. Long story short, it works but I’m unlikely to buy another one, nor would I really recommend it.

Charges but doesn’t sync with Apple car play

I’m not sure if I ended up with a faulty cable or it’s just the way it is. But the cable refuses to play nice with Apple car play in my cars radio. It will connect for minutes at a time and just “disconnect” on its own. It’ll keep charging it but my radio will not display the Apple car play screen. It sucks because the cable itself feels really nice and premium. It has very thick insulation and feels like it’ll last a long time. I ended up leaving this cable at home strictly for charging only and brought along an Apple lightning cable for my car. Would I recommend it? Umm sure, so long as you don’t plan on using it for syncing your phone with your laptop or Apple car play with it. Other than that, it charges the phone like it should and is made of premium feeling materials so 3 stars for that.

    Basic USB-A to Lightning cable

USB-A to Lightning cable. I'm giving it an average, because I'm new to Apple products; I'm not sure if I have too many files on my phone to transfer to my work pc, or if Apple doesn't want to play well with pc, or if the cable is not "Apple approved." It charges my phone ok, but the transfers of pictures and videos keeps dropping. It does work fine with a wall wart to charge my iphone.

The cords looked and felt sturdy, but they didn’t last long before the annoying sound of it charging and not began. I got them for my Mom and she’s not rough on cords. I hope we just got some duds because i have bought other Best Buy brand items and they work great

Works good, but cord extremely too thick and cumbersome. However, it served the purpose. Depends on where you are using this, I used it my USB in my car. I was rushed when I purchased it, had I paid more attention to the diameter of the cord I would not have purchased this one.

It works as both a data transmitter & charging port. I use it to plug my phone into my car for CarPlay, and it charges my phone simultaneously. I will say, however, after around a month of normal to light use, with no tugging or wear on the cable, it started intermittently disconnecting from my car at certain angles. However, it is a generic brand product.
