I bought this so that we could attach an Apple Air Tag.

A bit bulky and not easy to carry on the pocket, but at the same time it protect your pods

I wanted to o express my extreme disappointment with the order BBY01-807039590842 placed on March 9, 2025. I ordered a set of Apple AirPods Pro 2nd Generation, along with an AppleCare+ plan and a Best Buy essentials™ - Silicone Case for Apple AirPods Pro 1st and 2nd Generations - Black. Upon receiving the package on March 15, 2025, I was shocked to find that only the silicone case was inside the box. The Apple AirPods Pro2 and any documentation or activation information for the AppleCare+ plan were completely missing. This is now the third time I have contacted Best Buy support regarding this incomplete order. My previous attempts to resolve this issue through the support chat have been unsuccessful. I have yet to receive the core components of my purchase – the AirPods and the AppleCare+ that I was charged for. Receiving only a small accessory while the main, significantly more expensive items are missing is unacceptable. The lack of resolution after multiple attempts to contact customer support is incredibly frustrating and has eroded my trust in Best Buy's order fulfillment process. I am still awaiting the delivery of the Apple AirPods [Specify Model] and the AppleCare+ plan that I paid for. If these items cannot be shipped promptly, I expect a full refund for the missing AirPods and the associated AppleCare+ plan. I hope that by leaving this review, my issue will finally be addressed. I advise other customers to carefully check their orders upon arrival to avoid similar frustrating experiences.

Protects and attaches so it doesn’t get damaged or lost

When I first picked up the Insignia AirPod Pro Gen 1-2 Silicone Case, I was curious to see if it could live up to its promise of offering reliable protection while keeping the sleek design of the AirPods Pro intact. Given that silicone cases can sometimes feel a bit flimsy, I was eager to see how this one would fare in terms of quality, fit, and everyday use. First Impressions and Fit Right out of the box, the Insignia Silicone Case has a smooth, matte finish that feels pleasant to the touch. It’s lightweight yet sturdy enough that it doesn’t feel like it’ll stretch out over time. The case is designed to be compatible with both the AirPods Pro Gen 1 and 2, and the fit was spot on when I slipped my AirPods Pro in. It wraps snugly around the AirPods charging case without being too tight, ensuring that the case doesn’t shift or slide around. The cutouts for the charging port and the pairing button are precise, so there’s no awkward fumbling when plugging in a charger or when trying to sync the AirPods. It also comes with a metal carabiner clip, which is a nice touch for those who prefer attaching their AirPods to a bag or keychain for quick access. Got it for my new EarPods but didn’t fit perfectly. It still works but there’s still a little gap and the price is right.

The top lid cover doesn’t stay attached. There needs to be some form of inner adhesive strip in order for it to stay attached.

I purchased this AirPods Pro 2 silicone case as an add on to gift with the Apple AirPods Pro 2. I put the case on before gifting and was disappointed to find the case was loose which would result in accumulating grit from inside a pocket or backpack resulting in scratching the white case. Also the top section didn’t snugly fit over the top of the case. I returned this silicone case, though a great value, wasnt ideal protection for the Apple product and I repurchased a beautiful hard case by CASETIFY at Best Buy that fits the gen 2 AirPod pro perfectly and well worth the higher price to complete my gift! :D

Say what you want, but I am an enthusiastic fan of AirPod cases. I did not even know they were a thing until I saw my children with them and got the atypical response of being annoyed that I bothered my children to ask them about their cases. That said, when given the opportunity to test out the Insignia AirPod Pro Gen 1-2 silicone case in blue with a circular shiny gold carabiner, I jumped and am so glad I did. Out of the box, the color and textures feel more lavish than I would have expected for a product that was designed for an Apple product at this price point. My point is that Apple products and accessories are usually priced to match how good they are, and that is the inherent niche expectation Apple has conditioned us users to believe. The more expensive the Apple, the better it is for all things. Yes, I understand that is not isolated to only Apple and for Apple brand products but let us be honest that they have exploited our desire for demure goods. Well rest assured, Insignia did not let us down and delivered a product that is sophisticatedly designed and economical in price. The case fits perfectly on my AirPods. I have found that since using the case with the carabiner clip, I have not once had to search for my AirPods because they are just clipped to my backpack. This was a common headache for me, and I have spent many afternoons talking to people at the gym because I did not want to take the time to find them before going to work out. Obviously, that was a joke, but there is some truth in it. The carabiner clip has been a game changer for me, making it so convenient to keep my AirPods secure and easily accessible. The only negative, I will add, is that the silicone case will get dirty, but I found that a quick rinse with dish soap and water will make them pristine again. My concluding thoughts are that I am delighted with the Insignia AirPod Gen 1-2 silicone case in blue with a circular shiny gold carabiner. I highly recommend the blue and gold combo, as it is ambiguous and more classy than flashy so it works well for any user.

Overall, I’d say the Insignia Silicone Case is a solid choice for anyone looking to safeguard their AirPods Pro while maintaining style and ease of use. Just be mindful of the dropping issue, and you’ll likely enjoy this case as much as I do!

A bit on the loose side for airpods pro 2 but works alright. Could be better

The Insignia Airpod Pro Gen 1-2 Silicone Case is an easy recommendation as it does what it is designed to do and looks good in the process. The case is decently thick but should offer a great deal of protection to the Airpods should they be dropped or knock against something and provide nice durability over time. I like the shade of blue and it's a nice contrast with the gold caribiner. The fit of the Airpods in the case is great and I've had no issues with the case staying on as it should. Naturally, being a silicone material it can be a tad annoying to take them out of one's pocket due to the grip of the case material, but this is a minor thing. The caribiner style shiny, gold ring enables one to clip the Airpods to a backpack or purse should you prefer to store them this way. As with other Insignia products this Airpod Pro case is a very good value and it's a great design for looks and functionality to not only protect one's Airpods, but give them a nice, distinctive look. It helps when there are so many others in the office with Airpods in the office and one can easily identify their own.

The Best Buy Essentials AirPod Pro 2 case in blue with a gold connector ring offers a sleek and stylish design that complements my AirPod Pro 2’s. They have a smooth rubbery texture but have not shown any fingerprint oil when using. Typically, these do and look dirty really fast, but it is not the case here. Setup was quick and easy—just slide the AirPod Pro 2 case into the cover. The case provides solid protection against drops and scratches, keeping your AirPods safe on the go. I feel it is very durable and would ensures that my case is protected and adds some color to an otherwise all white setup. However, the fit could be a bit snugger, as there’s a slight looseness that allowed the case to slide when I was adding or removing my Air Pods. Overall, it's a good value for anyone looking for affordable and stylish protection for their AirPod Pro 1/2. I do wish they offered a silver ring in the package for those like me that have all silver rings to match better. Also, I would pay slightly more if they sold a 3 pack of colors so I could switch these up with my Apple Watch Bands on occasion. Definitely worth the money.

it’s regular quality case, i guess it’s comfortable to use

It was about the worst product that one can possibly imagine. I don't quite understand how come some others rated it so highly. What it did was to plop out the Apple airbuds, falling out to the floor, upon the slightest drop. Never fully enclosed the front of the airbuds case, and accumulated a lot of dirt along the outside of its enclosure. I ended throwing it away, and spending a lot more for a protective external enclosure which actually was effective. Unforturtuately, according to the reviews, none of the cheaper ones actually work all that well, even the ones which supposedly have front locks.

Isn’t working well, it’s to big for my AirPods 3 It doesn’t feel secure enough.
