I am a recent Best Buy customer and recently retired. I am now rebuilding my home office and I am no longer supported by my work support team. Sone new computers, particularly laptops, do not have a RJ45 network port. aka: ethernet port. New laptops may only have USB-C ports. This cable will "bridge" this situation.

Works as advertised, absolutely no hiccups - plug it in, and the Macbook Air immediately recognizes the home DHCP server/cable modem, and instantly connects to the internet.
