In the end, I bought a new 32" Samsung LED TV, a Yamaha receiver, speakers and sub wolfer. What a great and balanced set up. No more blast you out of your chair when a comercial comes on. Beautiful picture and great sound. I also purchased the Logitec Harmony control. All this was just a bit beyond my ability so I contracted Best Buy folks to come in and set it up for me. Best money I have spent. The tech was extremely competent and had a personality as well. What next? I'm thinking about a new camera. Yes, I will do my shopping at Best Buy! Why? It always pays to do your research, but in the end, you want to talk to someone that can help you make the final decision. That is why I am sold on Best Buy! Great store, great people.

When sending a gift card online (yes, meant to be one of the easiest ways to give a present), Best Buy makes it difficult by refusing to offer an option to include a gift note! Silliest thing I have ever heard. So, you send an anonymous gift to your giftee, then you have to go through a second step and send that person an email alerting them to the fact that an unmarked gift is coming from Best Buy and you hope that they will recall that it is from you? Best Buy - what are you thinking? Every other online merchant can figure this out; why can't you?
