    I’ve had the Best Buy membership for a while now, and it has honestly paid for itself. The fast free shipping, exclusive deals, and extended return window make shopping so much easier. I especially love the member-only discounts — I’ve saved a good amount on small electronics, accessories, and even a laptop. The tech support and protection plan benefits add even more value. It’s nice knowing that if anything goes wrong with a device, I can get help quickly without extra hassle. The checkout process is smoother too since my perks are automatically applied. If you shop at Best Buy even a few times a year, the membership is absolutely worth it. Great perks, real savings, and excellent customer service. Highly recommend!

    I went into Best Buy Plus expecting a little more day-to-day value based on how it’s described. The benefits are fine on paper, but in actual use I didn’t find much that meaningfully changed my buying experience. The extended return window is probably the most useful perk, but outside of that, the savings and exclusives felt situational rather than consistent. If you’re someone who makes frequent purchases or larger electronics buys throughout the year, I can see how this might pay off. For more occasional shoppers, the value isn’t immediately obvious. I ended up getting the membership at little to no cost, so I don’t regret trying it, but if I had paid full price, I’d have expected clearer, more tangible benefits. Not a bad program — just one that makes the most sense for a specific type of customer.

    The salespeople, installers and the Geek Squad who installed and set up my new TV and dishwasher were top class. The salespeople, Eric and Michael, were top class. They told us the pros and cons of the products we were looking at and explained everything in detail. They told us what options were available, but there was no pressure to purchase anything. They made great suggestions and demonstrated what the suggestions would do for us. I give Eric and Michael an A+, and I would recommend them to anyone who is interested in purchasing a TV or an appliance. Michael and Eric had very detailed knowledge of the products in their respective areas.

    Almost a 3rd of things i reviewed recently are things i got through the membership discounts. The sales are nice. My only complaint is that it would be nice to consistently have things i love in those monthly sales but when they do come around to my interest it is a steal and the shipping deal comes in handy as well.

    had a great experience at the Best Buy store. The team was extremely polite, helpful, and took the time to clearly explain everything I needed to know. They even assisted me in ordering products that weren’t available in this location and arranged to get them from another store. I’m also really enjoying the membership benefits — overall, an excellent experience!

    Best Buy Plus: Worth it for me this year

    I don't like add-ons or extra charges. I also don't like a mere 15-day return policy, especially for items that take time to evaluate. 30-day or even more is best, but I found that this was worth it for me this year. Why? This year purchases included nice bookshelf speakers (I needed more than 15 days to compare them to a different brand I got elsewhere), 3 laptops (if you're busy like me, I need more than 15 days to evaluate). Given pricing and availability, Plus made sense. It's for a year, but you can turn it "on" and "off" (pro rated usage). It was handy for the bookshelf speakers (I actually returned the brand I got at Best Buy, nice to have had more time to return). I turned Plus "off" quickly so it cost me next to nothing. Then my wife and 2 kids off-to-college needed laptops. Best Buy prices were competitive, so I signed back up for Plus, and have kept it for 2-3 months. It saved my bacon once or twice as we worked the gear out. Then I found I needed more kid-college-tech and a couple of backup SSDs for 2 new pc's I built in spring, as well as for a mac: Plus to the rescue once again, gave me the time I needed to make sure the gear worked and was what I needed. So, once a skeptic, now I'm not so grumpy about extra bucks for a longer return period. I can be worthwhile.

    I've been really happy with my My Best Buy Plus™ yearly membership and feel it's delivered excellent value. The free shipping on all orders is incredibly convenient for small tech purchases, and the exclusive member pricing has saved me money on several items. Getting early access to major sales helped me snag great Black Friday deals that sold out quickly. The extended return periods and faster customer support are nice bonuses too. The membership easily paid for itself within a few months through shipping savings alone. For anyone who shops Best Buy regularly for tech gear, I'd definitely recommend it.

    Best Buy Plus has turned out to be one of the best value-for-money memberships I’ve taken. The biggest benefit is the 60-day return window. Normally you only get 14 days, but with Plus, you have plenty of time to use the product, test it properly, and see if it truly fits your needs. That extra return period gives real mental relaxation. Even if you open the item and use it for a few days, as long as you keep it in saleable condition, you can return it without stress. It makes buying electronics so much easier and more confident. If you shop at Best Buy even a few times a year, this membership pays for itself.

    Best Buy has always been a go to. Even more in today’s competitive market with no brick and mortar locations anymore. Best Buy always has what I’m looking for. Thank you Best Buy for allowing my family to set up our new home with our Samsung Bespoke Refrigerator, Washer and Dryer & Sonos Home Theater Equipment.

    I joined because this replaced the old Best Buy Rewards program, which I had been a member of since its beginning. Unfortunately some marketing "genius" up the corporate ladder decided to discontinue the primary merchandise I had been purchasing from Best Buy for decades. I have been an avid collector of physical media (CD, DVD, BD, 4K, etc) since the formats first launched and Best Buy has always been my dependable primary source. But now they have short-dightedly chosen to discontinue selling physical media. Recent trends are showing a rising backlash by audiophile and videophile against digital downloads and streaming services upon discovering that providers are arbitrarily deleting content due to data storage limitations. Even deleting legitimately licensed and purchased downloads without compensation or recourse to the buyer. This is accompanied by rising embrace of physical formats which can't be deleted by faceless 3rd parties. Now is the time for retailers to get ahead of the curve and start aggressively promoting the advantages and availability of physical media over streaming and downloading. Pending a change in Best Buy's new policy on physical media, I have no further use for My Best Buy and will likely not renew my membership.

    I bought the memebership shortly before Tax Free Weekend in MA (2025). The computer tower that I bought has gone on sale since then. I was reimbursed $50 via the Price Match Guarantee so the membership has paid for itself. I received two $25 gift certificates a few weeks after the purchase based upon the purchase price ($25 for every $250 spent). Unfortunately, the gift certificates expire after one month. I don't really need anything from Best Buy, but I'm forced to make a purchase or they go to waste. The membership is probably worth it if you make frequent purchases. If you only shop there a few times a year the membership is probably not for you.

    If you shop at best buy a lol this is definitely a no brainer. You spend 60 upfront, but with all the membership only deals available throughout the store you'll save money more than the cost of the membership. I saved a good chunk of money when me and my girlfriend were both purchasing new laptops for school.

    Best Buy price matched the dryer. The customer service online was terrible. The delivery guys dumped the dryer off and didn’t connect it Dumped it in the middle of my hallway blocking my bedroom and bathroom. They said I’d have to get a private contractor even though that was part of buying the membership. So not a good experience.

    Sales person was amazing and very help full but service getting appliances installed was terrible had to reline stove to be level with countertop and microwave and dishwasher were canceled 4 times after i already took time off of work we finally installed them are self not happy at all .
