When I went to buy my newest Apple Watch in November, I was skeptical at first to purchase this membership. When one of the store representatives told me that Best Buy does a holiday price match where I could call if the price of my product was lower and get the money refunded to me for the difference I was immediately sold. Not only did this product actually deliver as the sales associate said, but it was so easy to do. I was able to text the Best Buy representative and get everything taken care of that way. I even used my Best Buy credit card and was able to get the difference in the prices refunded right to my Best Buy credit card and off the total without affecting the promotional rate definitely worth the purchase for that alone.

The salesman encouraged me to purchase this membership just in case they put their remaining iMacs on sale after I walked out. Unfortunately that didn't happen. But as it turned out, I had to return two of the accessories I had also purchased and received back every cent I had spent. (I didn't need the new Magic Mouse, there was one already in the box.) Perhaps the easy refund would have happened anyway, dunno.

If you buy lots of stuff from best buy I will highly recommend you get plus member. It offers you significant discounts on lots products along with special holidays discount for instant it was black Friday deal was going on and I had plus member and I was looking for vacuum and carpet shampooer they marked their price down for black Friday and also there was another price written red says plus or total members discount. So I learned they give more discounts if you are plus or total member with bestbuy

I don't like add-ons or extra charges. I also don't like a mere 15-day return policy, especially for items that take time to evaluate. 30-day or even more is best, but I found that this was worth it for me this year. Why? This year purchases included nice bookshelf speakers (I needed more than 15 days to compare them to a different brand I got elsewhere), 3 laptops (if you're busy like me, I need more than 15 days to evaluate). Given pricing and availability, Plus made sense. It's for a year, but you can turn it "on" and "off" (pro rated usage). It was handy for the bookshelf speakers (I actually returned the brand I got at Best Buy, nice to have had more time to return). I turned Plus "off" quickly so it cost me next to nothing. Then my wife and 2 kids off-to-college needed laptops. Best Buy prices were competitive, so I signed back up for Plus, and have kept it for 2-3 months. It saved my bacon once or twice as we worked the gear out. Then I found I needed more kid-college-tech and a couple of backup SSDs for 2 new pc's I built in spring, as well as for a mac: Plus to the rescue once again, gave me the time I needed to make sure the gear worked and was what I needed. So, once a skeptic, now I'm not so grumpy about extra bucks for a longer return period. I can be worthwhile.

so I tried this because I made a purchase of an X5 and some air pods just before Black Friday literally one or two days before I was flying out so I wouldn't have had time to come back during that time to purchase items I wanted luckily this covered me because the items prices dropped significantly like about $100 I'd recommend this product because whether you know it or not paying a subscription in the end usually comes out to be worth it and it's like insurance it gives you peace of mind

It was $1900 The cashier asked me if I wanted to purchase the membership for 50 bucks which at the time I really didn't want to spend the money but they told me when this PC will go on sale and whatever the sale price is I will get the difference from what I paid and sure enough a week later it went on sale. Straight truth review, do not purchase the membership if you only go to best buy once or twice a year, but with that being said lets say the purchases you make those once or twice a year are big apliances or even pricey technology then the membership may be very useful, but plan your purchases if you need the item now and Black Friday or Christmas or whatever discount holiday is coming up then with the membership they will reimburse you the difference of the sale for your already purchased item. Now myself I do not shop best buy a lot maybe 3 times a year. But last Christmas my daughters asked for an Ipad so we went to Best buy I found the one she asked for, we also decided to purchase a new phone for my other daughter we bought the iphone 12 it was on sale, i also bought 2 sets of air pods so roughly $1300 purchase i was offered the membership paid $50 i think for it this was literally on Christmas Eve, the associate explained the new iphone would be released later the next month and usually they will put the older ones on sale and showed me how to use the app to even get an alert when price drops ect. Ok in March my husband purchased me a new phone. A month later we had some unexpected home repairs so I said i can wait for a new phone this was more important. Well looking at reciept I realized my husband had bought and had in his name so I went on their customer service chat and the associate said that I do have the membership but this purchase wasnt made on my account so they couldn't refund. Ok so I had I decided to just drive to best buy return and ask about a refund and see if tbey could add the purchase to my membership because it does allow more return time then just regular accounts. The store manager came over i explained everything. I showed him the reciepts and he pulled up my account and I was nervous or just thinking theres nothing they will be able to do well i was wrong. He proceeded to then hand me a full refund, and then said i also noticed on your receipt for the best buy membership you had also purchased an ipad it has actually dropped $200 dollars, and the iphone $150, and the airpods are only $20 dollars cheaper this week only so with my permission he could reimburse me the difference back to my original payment, you can only get the price difference on the items once and I said yes please he then gives me a new receipt, and told me $395 would be going back on my card within 1-3 days. So helpful and i was very thankful i went ahead and purchased the membership because somtimes unexpected costs can be stressful and i would not have been able to return the 1000 dollar phone since I only had phone 16 days and there policy is 2 week warranty, and added bonus that day an extra 390 for the other items i had purchased were not dicounted and did everything in 5 minutes. We left and the reimbursement payment actually was in my bank about 2 in half hours later(that is based on what bank you have) so yes this membership was 50 and the way I looked at it was it 50 , but I knew with new iphone being released it would be beneficial to get sale price and i wouldnt have to wait too long. But what I got from the membership was much more, the app is easy to navigate and see you account and contact customer service online(even though the representative was bot able to help me online they advised me to go ahead and go to the store they couldn't promise they would be able to add the purchase to my original account but they could help me more in person. I think it is worth it, just remember to purchase it when buying higher priced electronics or appliances or phones. I wouldn't go and buy a Playstation video game only and purchase it then or cell phone case lol you understand what I am getting at.
