I think to have wing nuts with two small rings

It took me almost a hour to put together because direction and illstrations were not clear. Also after using grill I have to take everything apart all the screws holding the electric unit to clean the tray below. Also the grease tray is small and hard to clean. My friend brought George Forman ( as there are also problems) atleast not all the screws to detach. Pooor workmanship.

It is a bit difficult to clean. You have to unscrew the top grid to clean under it. It says to use in house but is very smoky. Sets off the smoke alarm. I wish I purchased one made for the outdoors. Plus side, food cooks good and grill is nice looking.

Starts up quickly and cooks evenly. I’m able to get the same cooking quality as my much larger gas grill. Careful not to leave the lid down long with the heat on high- it shorts out

Great for apartments that don’t allow you to have charcoal or propane. The heating unit is very powerful and gets very hot very fast. Leaves the grill lines on food you know and love. It is a little hard to clean as the grease drops down into the grease tray.

The Better Chef electric grill works ok, but it is small. Honestly I’m not sure I would purchase it again. It would be ok if you lived in an apartment and had a patio.
