I wake up at 4am for work and I only see the sun on the way to work. This light really helped me get up and not hit snooze 3 or 4 times. I also love the built-in USB charger and easy to use app. Pros - Built-in USB charger (it worked great for charging my smart watch, which has a short cord and would have been a pain to plug in to the nearest outlet) - Beurer LightUp app works great for both setup and control. You can easily set the time, radio presets, set alarms, snooze time, pick sounds, light patterns, brightness and control every function. - Most functions have a dedicated button and they are well laid out and good size. - Variety of sound options (sounds/radio/aux in) - Wake up light can be set to gradually get brighter as your alarm time approaches and the interval is adjustable. - Sleep function has a simulated sunset option that is really cool. Slowly dimming and changing to a reddish orange color over an interval you set while playing your choice of sounds. Other color combinations are offered, but this was my favorite. - You can set 2 different alarms with different times, light behaviors and sounds. - Light can also be used as a lamp or mood light with different rotating color patterns. Things to Consider - The snooze button and alarm off button are the same. The button is touch sensitive so just brushing it is snooze and depressing it is off - it works great and seems very natural when you are awake, but this got me a few times when I was sleepy. - The speaker volume and sound quality are fair - think nice clock radio. I would not use it to seriously listen to music or the radio, but it is fine as an alarm, listening as you fall asleep or background noise. - The light is bright, but comparable to a bright lamp. It works best if you keep your room dark. It may not be bright enough to get your attention if you already sleep with a light or are a deep sleeper. - When charging a device near the wake-up light or using the USB port I could occasionally hear some static from the speaker in a quiet room. It normally went away after a few seconds but is something to consider if you plan on having a lot of electronics near it.

Modern Day Alarm Clock fo the Future

Beurer Wake-up Light I wasn’t quite sure what to expect with this product i can pleasantly say I’m very pleased. The Beurer Wake-up light is a simple modern day alarm clock. The time is gently illuminated in a soft-blue backlight, and offers basic clock functions, time, AM/FM radio, alarm, etc, but what sets this apart is it will simulate a sunrise waking up, sunset going to sleep, with many colorful options in between. It’s super easy to setup, literally 30 seconds, plug it in, download the App, instant Bluetooth, instant identification. It’s a tad quirky in the app where you’re presented with a color graph circle, but you can’t drag your finer to select, without first clicking the center on/off button. Small grievance. The app is actually quite nice, particularly for setting you AM/FM radio station presets. Waking up is more pleasant, presenting an energizing feeling. One thing I’d like to have seen Beurer include however is fall to sleep audio, particularly by way of a white noise generator, or ocean waves, Forrest rainfall, etc. I have a separate RadioShack unit for that, but would prefer fewer bedside devices where i charge my phone, watch and AirPods nightly. Overall I’m very impressed, had low expectations, but this product clearly exceeded them all. Pros + excellent Beurer Wake Up App + Bluetooth to play your own music + Mood light “Rainbow” is super groovy + Pleasant soft blue backlight time display + Reading lamp mode is less harsh than bedside lamps Cons -build quality seems fragile, very lightweight -white noise generator would be nice, as would ocean waves, or rainstorm -cord could be longer (for weaving behind bedside table) -volume with radio is very light on bass, better for NPR talk radio Conclusion The Beurer Wake Up Light is a modern day alarm clock that offers many more features. The Mood features is particularly great for meditating, while the reading light is superb and much more pleasant and softer than bedside lights (adjustable via the app). I wasn’t expecting to like the light so much, and am glad to have been given the opportunity to review. Future versions i’d like to see TV broadcasts on the screen for the perfect travel device ;-) Recommended Buy

This light provides a lot of lighting and wake up options, but just doesn't feel like it was made for this day and age with so many innovative products out there. So the basics: you have a number of different lighting options (vast spectrum of colors) and you can set it to turn on at a certain time to help you sleep or wake up. The light connects to your phone via bluetooth so you can control it without getting up. You can also wake up to a number of different sounds. The light generally works for what it was intended for, but has a number of flaws in my opinion. First, it just feels cheap. The plastic used for the light and the base just don't feel very high quality. The digital display with the time is difficult to see and looks like it was from the 80's. Two, the sound quality isn't good. So if you want to plug your phone in to listen to music you will be disappointed. Third, yes, that's right, plug in your phone. I can't fathom why you would make a light with bluetooth connectivity but require a manual plug for you phone (some phones don't even have headphone plugs these days - I guess you can plug in your iPod if those still exist). Fourth, the bluetooth connectivity isn't good. It takes me multiple tries in order to connect my phone to the light (see picture of it saying bluetooth disconnected when I'm standing right next to it). The manual controls are not user friendly, so it makes if very frustrating. Lastly, the app doesn't always control as intended. I would like to wake up to just light without any alarm sounds, but I can't find an option to turn off the alarm. So I just put the alarm volume all the way down. Well, it still comes on at the same loudness as it always does. So some of the controls just don't work. I think you can find a better way to wake up that is more functional.

I'm loving this wake up light. I would call it an all in one device that should be in everyone's night stand. It has replaced my small night stand light. You can use it as a clock/alarm, but its much more than that. It has an LED light that can change colors depending on how you use it. If you use it to wake up, it can simulate a sunrise, or an energizing light. It does work specially if you wake up when its still dark outside. It will kind of "kick' your brain into "its daylight mode", so you feel more active and energized. You can also use it the other way, if you have trouble falling asleep, like me, you can program the light for it to simulate a sunset, or a relaxed mood. It will also play nice relaxing sounds you can choose (light a rainfall etc). You can program it directly using the buttons on the back, however if you download their app, everything becomes much, much easier. It connects to your phone or tablet via bluetooth, and from it you can control and program everything to the smallest detail, so I highly recommend it, check my screenshots. Oh, and did I mention it also has a radio function? It does have also a USB port on the back to charge any phones on your nightstand and also it has an aux minijack, I guess to input music and make it play from the speaker on the light. I highly recommend it if you have trouble falling asleep or waking up!!!

Never thought I could be so enamored with such a device but this thing is absolutely awesome! As awesome as the device is, the app is even better. There are certain companies who get it right and make the integration between the device and the app seamless and Beurer is one of them. Using the app on a 12 pro max with the latest software, it worked and it worked flawlessly every time, no doing this or doing that, it just works. Plug the device in, select the WL75 in the app and it automatically sets the date and time on the device from your phone, it does this every time even when the device is unplugged and plugged back in. You can control all functions from the app, alarms (only two, would like to see more), turn the mood light on, control all functions of the radio and set sleep functions. The only thing you can’t do with the app is snooze the alarm. One function I would like to see added to the app would be the ability to preview alarm tones, as of now you can only hear them when an alarm goes off. The device itself has a 3.5 mm headphone Jack to connect your phone and play your music through it and also includes a cable. It also has a USB jack so you can also charge your phone from the device. The only thing I would change would be a separate button for the snooze function. To snooze the device you lightly press/touch the power button, unfortunately sometimes I press it to hard and cut the alarm off. If you want a wake up device with multiple functions that just works, this is the device!

The range of options for sunrise color and duration is fantastic. You can also set snooze duration, which is very rare. Despite our advancements in technology, most others feel the need to continue with the archaic 9 minute snooze, for whatever reason. The unit also looks good and has a USB to charge your phone. However, there are two things I cannot get past. The first is the snooze button. You use exactly the same button to turn off the alarm - you just have to touch it more gently. Trying to figure this out is nearly impossible, especially when you are half asleep. I either pushed the button too hard and turned the alarm off or found myself circling my finger over the button too gently, while the alarm continued to sound. Second, the app connectivity can be unreliable. I also couldn't get the radio to work after the first day, but it was really the snooze feature that I couldn't get past, so I returned it. It's a shame, because most of the features are pretty great.

Love The Concept...But The App Gets In The Way.

Great concept but the app sets it back! I have never had a wake up light before and have always been intrigued by the idea of waking up to light instead of a traditional alarm. My first impressions out the box was the unit felt a little cheap. It had no weight and it felt hollow. The digital LCD screen where the time is read looks cheap and outdated. It also has an awkward radio wire antenna that is not removable so you have to cut it off if you don't plan to listen to the radio on it and why would you because the sound quality is not great. It's like Beurer could not decide if this was a wake up light of an alarm clock from the 2000's and it misses the mark on both. I really love waking up to the light though. I have used this for about a month now and I truly wake up refreshed and invigorated by light. It was subtle but noticeable. It starts out with an early red mimicking the sunrise and I have gently woken up at this stage and doze back off for another few minutes only to be gently awoken by a room full of beautiful light! Sometimes I wake up in the fog of sleep and am surprised that the window shades are closed and it’s pitch dark outside since it’s 5am! It does a great job with that for sure... But then I noticed a very faint alarm clock (again from the 2000's) beeping and then tried to turn off the light with my app and I can’t! You have to touch it. That’s not such a big deal if you have it right by your bed stand but I found it too bright by my stand and it looked ugly sitting there. You can dim the brightness if you choose to keep it on your bedstand, but I found I like it better a little further away from me in my room. It seems that you have to psychically touch the top of the Unit itself to turn off the light!!! The app just spins and won't connect to the unit. I thought maybe it was because I had connected both my wife and I's phone at the same time, which is cool because we can both adjust the mood lighting and adjust wake up times ect. But her's would not connect either. The next night we closed the apps on both of our phones thinking maybe there was a conflict but no. The app would not connect in the morning as the alarm was going off. It would try and for a second connect then spin. It looks like a bug in the app. To be fair I have not tried to contact them about it. to be frank, I should not have to. It should just work out of the box. Again, we had to touch the unit itself to turn it off everytime! I guess that one way to make sure you get out of bed. That's a problem then if the app won't allow you to turn it off. Hit the power button once and it snoozes so you have to hit it again to turn it off. Another miss is the fact that you have to select a tone to wake up to with the sunrise... I turned the volume all the way down because I want to wake up with just the light, my regular watch wakes me a few minutes later in case the light is not enough (although for the month I have had it, the light itself wakes me and my wife up almost every time and it feels amazing!) The alarm makes a sound even when the volume is turned all the way down!!! That really is annoying! It's faint but there. I switched from the "bell" to the "buzzer" to "nature" sounds to see if maybe it was just a bug and it plays even if the volume is all the way down. Also a note on the "nature sounds" it only uses a 4 second loop of the same annoying bird...yuck would a 45 second more natural loop have killed you Beurer. I really waned to love this product but it's just is a miss in my opinion. I love the concept and feel of the light waking you but I don't think this is the product to settle on.

Alarm Clock/Wake up Light with Many Uses!

Does your alarm clock need an upgrade? Look no further, Beurer’s Wake Up Light should be one of your top choices. Like many people, my alarm to get up in the morning is my phone. But since getting this product, I have made the switch over, and wow, what a difference it makes! This alarm clock does it all! This is not your typical alarm clock that just tells time and plays the radio. This alarm clock does more such as the following: -This alarm clock has an extremely bright wake-up light. (light is adjustable through the app) -A mood light with a myriad of colors -Different alarm melodies that are not your typical run-of-the-mill sounds (there are common sounds if desired) -FM Radio is available as well! -A snooze function of course, although it is hard to reach (a good thing that helped me get up in the morning) -An easy-to-use app that allows you to easily customize your wake-up light settings rather than using the physical buttons -AUX port to connect your phone for music, although speakers are bad -USB port to charge your phone All I can say is this is an indeed neat product. Having a physical alarm clock trumps using my phone as an alarm every day. Not only has this helped me get up in a better mood in the morning, but I do enjoy the extra features this alarm clock has. The light tricks my brain into thinking it’s morning and has been one of the best things about this product. I do also enjoy the extra color choices for the light as well. If you do end up with this, I do recommend the app. The app, while it does have a couple of bugs, does work flawlessly with the alarm clock. Many customization options are available, and the app makes life a lot easier than using the old school buttons One complaint I have is the tiny screen. I placed this alarm clock across the room and sometimes the tiny screen is hard to view. Also, the speakers are genuinely bad when playing music through my phone but understandably, this shouldn’t matter since it is an alarm clock. I would’ve also liked a way to completely mute the alarm clock and wake up to just natural light. Turning the volume completely down doesn’t mute the alarm. But besides that, I have no other complaint! Overall, I do recommend you try this alarm clock/wake-up light out. It has been an outstanding replacement for my phone’s alarm in the morning and has helped me in getting up in the morning. German engineering at its finest!

    Nice Multifunction Clock Radio Light

The Beurer Wake-Up Light is a really nifty multifunction alarm clock and light. Personally, I really hate having to wake up in the dark during fall/winter. I think that the main feature of the Beurer Wake-Up Light is the sunrise light simulation on the alarm that starts low and red then slowly increases brightness and shifts to yellow and white light. The light comes on first, then the audio alarm with the sound starting quiet and increasing in volume. This allows for a gentle and soothing wake up experience. The duration, brightness, and volume of the alarm are all adjustable with the downloadable app. Alarm options include chirping birds, soft music, radio, or more classic buzzers, beeps, and bells. There are also adjustable snooze options. The clock display is blue and even at the lowest setting is quite bright at night, enough to cast shadows in my bedroom. Fortunately, the display light can be turned off completely using the app. It has a cool touch sensor on the side of display though, so if you want to check the time in the dark you just touch the side of the clock and the display lights up for a few seconds. When you are not asleep, the Wake-Up Light gives you multiple light options. It can be used as a white room light or reading light with variable brightness controllable from the app. You can also do colored mood in a wide variety of adjustable RGB colors and very soothing color changing patterns. The light is LED and stays cool. It would be great for a dorm room. In addition to the Wake-up light, you can also use this as a sleep light. You can set it for a simulated sunset or mood lighting that will slowly dim as you drift off to sleep. You can also turn on soothing sleep sounds to go along with the lighting including rain, radio, or several calming musical styles. The radio function works fine and has 10 station presets and a sleep timer. An Aux cable is included that allows you to connect your phone or other device to play music through the Wake-Up Light speaker (although the app connects with Bluetooth, you can’t use it as a Bluetooth speaker). The Wake-Up Light is really designed to be controlled with the free app downloadable from the iOS or Android App Store. The app doesn’t require any kind of account set up or location data. Using the app, set up of the Wake-Up Light is super easy. Connecting to the app via Bluetooth sets the time automatically and allows you to control all of the functions. You do really need the app to control the Wake-up Light. The manual controls on the device itself are much more limited (only 6 buttons) and are located on the base behind the clock display making them hard to reach and to see what buttons you are pushing and those buttons don’t control everything. While the app is nice and very useful, it would be better to have full functionality without having to rely on a separate electronic device to control the Wake-Up Light. The dependence on the app does make me a bit concerned about the longevity of the device, what if the app doesn’t get updated long term, will it still be compatible with future versions of iOS and Android?

I got this Beurer Wakeup Light about a month ago and have been using it on a daily basis (mainly Mon-Fri) and putting it through its paces. In that time, its kinda a device that I didn't know I wanted or needed until I actually got to using it. Inside the package is the Beurer WakeUp Light and power adapter, and user documentation. This thing is really simple and easy to use. Just plug in the adapter to the back of the light and the other end to an outlet. The power switch is at the top along with the brightness up/down touch button on the right side of the light. The light also comes with bluetooth and an AM/FM radio as well. Buttons to set the time, alarm, and radio are on the back at the base of the light. However, I found using these buttons to be a bit finnicky. It was easier (for me at least) to program the alarm and radio stations via the app; which can be downloaded from the App Store for iOS or the Google Play Store for Android. Before downloading the app, I got a little ahead of myself and the brightness of the light wasn't really doing it for me and I wondered if it would be bright enough to wake me from my slumber. However, after downloading the app, I was able to get the full effect of how bright the white light is; the other colors feel are somewhat subtle and muted to me. But I love this light and have been using everyday since. Also using the app, the time automatically set itself and the preset radio stations to my liking. Definitely keeping this on my nightstand.

I love the idea of the Beurer Wake Up Light and the inner utopia that a graceful waking can contrive. My experience during testing has been mostly positive say for the app. I will start with the good though. The device feels well-built and is quite the eye catcher. I like having the lamp as a cool RGB feature piece actually back facing a wall at night. When working the app allows some mood lighting scenes that will oscillate the color spectrum or allows pinning a specific lighting color with different degrees of brightness. Since this lamp’s purpose is to mimic daylight it gets super bright at max, and I do mean super super bright. I personally light the mood lighting dim but my wake-up light at max. I cannot definitively say that the lighting upon waking up is impactful more than holistically. But I can say that since using the lamp I have noticed an improved demeanor towards the start of my day. Case in point, coincidence or not I been to the gym more days than not been to the gym while using it. I really enjoy the sleep setting with sleep tones and find the asmr raindrops to be very tranquil and soothing after a long day. Overall, impression is solid, and I think this is a cool product. The cons are definitely the app and its ability to stay properly connected or its ability to reconnect to the lamp without having to remove it and reinstall the app. I think there were a couple of updates during my testing period because it did get noticeably better but not perfect. Next, I would have like to seen a docking station of something other than an AUX cord connect. I wish this unit acted more like a Bluetooth speaker and allowed me to synchronize music & lighting or going further by allowing me to stream from or directly to it because who listens to the radio(?). Yet, if the app is not functioning the unit does allow for several features to accessed from the top and back buttons. Again, cool device and would be a nice addition to any room of your home.

Good Concept and Design - Has Some Drawbacks

The Beurer Wake Up Light is an alarm clock designed to wake you up gracefully with a combination of alarms and domed light. I’ve had the light at my bedside for some time now and I have made a number of observations during my time with it. To get the most out of the light you need to download the Beurer LightUp app and connect to the light via Bluetooth. There are physical buttons on the light base that let you set the time, adjust the alarms, and turn on/off the light, and toggle the mood light. This interaction is a lot more clunky than app, and I had to reference the manual a couple of times to learn all the functions. I used the physical buttons to configure it at first, but there was a bit of a learning curve and it was overly reductive when faced with the myriad of settings. However, you can access most of the light features without the app. Within the app you can quickly set your alarms (up to 2 different alarm times), determine the alarm sound, toggle the light behavior (brightness, color, speed it comes to full brightness, etc.). There are a couple of preset routines for waking up and for bedtime. If you are the type of person that sets a sleep timer on your TV to fall asleep to, then the sleep routine would be useful. The app allows you to set the light to any number of RGB colors for a nice mood light. You can set a timer if you want it to turn off after a certain period of time as well. It can be a fixed color or float through any number of presets like a rainbow wave. Overall the app works really well and it interfaces quickly with the light. However, the one thing I haven’t mentioned is the Achilles heel of the app – the Bluetooth range. The range is quite low, and the app starts to become sluggish if you are too far away. I would put the max range at 20ft with a clear line of sight. If doors or walls are in your way then the range will drop. So, if you plan to put this in your child’s room (like I did for a bit) then you are almost forced to enter the room to make any adjustments. This is a real downside if you are using the bedtime mode and try to get a child to sleep. Using the light for its intended purpose – waking me up. I am a deeply heavy sleeper. I can fall asleep with the TV and all the lights on and sleep through the night. I already had a setup similar to what the Wake Up light does – 2 Sengled smart bulbs and a Lenovo Smart Clock. I had a routine setup in that clock to beep the alarm and gradually turn the brightness of my bedside lamps up. The effectiveness of this in the past was just OK. However, it gave me a baseline to compare the Wake Up light to. I like the relaxing alarm sounds too much to try to wake up to them – they are too soothing for me. I set it to the nagging beep of a standard alarm clock (something my Lenovo clock doesn’t have oddly). To turn the alarm off you need to be aware of where you tap one the dome light – there’s a physical button to push in at the top to kill the alarm. However, right in the same region is a touch sensitive spot that toggles the snooze. In the app you can set your snooze times – I set mine down to a minute. The combination of needing to be awake enough to press the off button, the nagging beep, and brightening light did cause me to wake up a little bit more than usual. Overall, it’s an improvement. I tried this out in my kids room as well to see how they liked it. They usually sleep with a nightlight, so I set the light to dim over time, which worked out well for bedtime. As far as getting up I used the more relaxing alarm sounds and the wakeup light coming on to get them up and moving. It worked great to be honest. My kids (7,8) had no issue learning how to switch off the alarm either. The peaceful sounds had them waking up less grumpy than the alarm on their bedroom Google Home Mini Speaker. Pros: - Extremely easy to use and navigate the app. It works a lot better than I expected it to. - 8 different alarm modes – beeping, 6 peaceful sounds, or radio - Controllable RGB dome light - Construction of the dome light casts a nice soft glow that isn’t harsh - Charging port for you phone or other device - Everything can be on a timer it seems - It saves space by combining the light and clock Cons: - Short Bluetooth range - Radio receiver is weak, so placement of the antenna is critical - Limited to 2 different alarm times - Power loss means you need to reset the clock - can be done quickly if you connect via the app - Black text with light blue backlight. Blue light isn’t great to sleep to, so I set the brightness to 0, but with the backlight off it is hard to read the time in low light. You have to tap the side of the base (near the clock) to temporarily brighten the display. So, coming from a heavy sleeper, this is a nice alarm/light combo. It’s annoying enough to wake me up, and that’s really what I look for in an alarm. There are a couple of drawbacks, but it is certainly useful.

The unit is a basic wake up/ sleep light that I consider is an entry model at a lower cost. The light has various settings for color and intensity all controlled by the app. If the app is not connected to the light, the buttons on the back of the light will function for the radio, volume, and alarm. Once the app is connected, the button on the unit will not work which can get confusing. I did like the small footprint it takes on the bedside table. The sound is just ok, nothing to rave about and not very impressive. The speaker is on the back of the light and it actually helps the sound to be less harsh and diffused. The app connects to the unit via Blue Tooth, and I question why the ability to play music via Blue Tooth from the phone is not included. The only way to play from the phone is to use the included headphone cord which I can’t use since I have no headphone jack on my phone. The app is very basic and does not impress. It’s rather “clunky” and has a tendency to disconnect from the device. Doing memory presets within the app for the radio is a chore. Using the timer for bedtime is confusing as it reads 0:15h for 15 minutes (yes, that display is hours:minutes). You can control the time, color routine of the light, and the intensity of the light along with the sleep tones and volume. There are 4 sleep tones built in or use the radio. The sleep tones are electronic and repeat as often as every 13 seconds so it can get monotonous. Because the app is really required to be used for all the features, I worry if updates or lack of will make the app useless down the road. The light itself is variable in brightness and color or can be auto color changing based on a preprogrammed routine. The digital display is sharp, but small. Seeing it during the night without your glasses is a challenge. If you touch the display it will backlight brighter but for those with poor eyesight it will be hard to see. CONCLUSION: It’s a novel device that for some will find it useful. If you are looking to try out a unit that’s low cost and basic it will be a good choice. This unit does what it’s advertised to do and the few quirks can be worked around. If they included all the features I would like to see, it would likely be much more money.

    Not bad...app needs work

I got this for my wife, who was having a hard time waking up consistently and without harshness. She loves that it gradually increases in brightness and volume. It doesn't just start blaring and that helps her a lot. The volume and light does a good job of keeping her form hitting snooze as well. The app itself is a little frustrating. When I first set it up, I set the alarm to test if but the light would go off during the test (I'm assuming because it was 8PM) but the alarm was easy to set. Adjusting the different sound settings was a pain via the app, but on the physical device it wasn't too bad. The buttons are out of the way on the physical device and it's not an eye-sore. It is definitely bigger than I expected but that's ok. Overall, it's a good product that does what it's supposed to do. The app definitely needs work.

    Great For Dark Winter Months

What we have here is an alarm clock that simulates sunlight for a more stimulating and peaceful wake up routine? Does it work? After 2 weeks of using it I can say yes. Waking up to sunshine has an overwhelmingly positive effect on my routine. If you live in a part of the country that has long winters then this device will be especially useful. This device is capable of more than daylight and can actually cycle through several different colors. It can hit most of the main colors and even shades in between. So it is an effective mood light or light decoration. Unfortunately I found the App to be unstable with my iOS device at times. Hopefully Beurer can correct this in the future. Fortunately most of the basic features of this device can be controlled with the manual control.

This Beurer WL75 Wake Up Light is a very useful device with 2 separate alarms (with totally separate settings), a mood/reading light, an aux input (3.5mm) and a radio! After plugging in the Beurer WL75 Wake Up Light, I downloaded the Beurer LightUp app from the App Store and effortlessly connected the app to the light via Bluetooth which updated the time immediately. I happily was able to set the time to 24hr, which is my preference - it’s nice to have that choice!. All of that couldn’t have been easier. I was then able to easily control all settings and functions for the Wake Up Light from within the app. This was so much easier than trying to do the settings manually - that was quite complicated - even with the enclosed instruction booklet! The alarm function has numerous settings including what time you want to awaken, do you want light, if so, which intensity and/or color, do you want sound, if so, would you like a melody, a tone or the radio and how loud do you want that to be. Once things were adjusted to my liking, waking up has become a very pleasant experience. There are many setting variations for every function, which gives me choices and makes this light even more useful. On the down-side, I don’t find this light to be aesthetically pleasing for me. The light is larger than I had expected, more flimsy than I had expected (this can quite easily be knocked over), and it is very plain looking. Aesthetics aside, it does have many useful functions. So if you are looking for something to ease you into your day or jolt you into your day if that’s your preference, ease you into a good night’s sleep, or just a radio or a reading light, this multi-function Beurer Wake Up Light may be for you too.

The Beurer - Wake Up Light is a good light for your bedroom that will help in getting up in the mornings. The light is plenty bright and works fairly well. You can also fine tune the light to create and chose your own custom color. The only downside is the app, which can use some fine-tuning. At times it glitches and does not work correctly. Overall, its a good light which will hopefully get better as they continue to make updates to their app.

I have heard about wake-up lights frequently and have been intrigued if they actually offer any benefits. The Beurer wake-up light is fantastic as it offers many features on top of the main purpose. The box includes the wake up light and power cord as well as instructions for setup. The great part is that it comes with an app that makes setup a breeze. Once you turn on the light and have your app downloaded, the app will instantly search for products. After you've linked your light to the app, it will automatically sync your time. You can then set up your alarms and wake up time. One great feature is that you can sync your own music if you'd like as well as AM/FM radio stations. I found the the preset alarm to be kind of underwhelming as I'm a heavy sleeper and would need something louder than this. A neat feature is that there are tons of colors you can change to to give more of an ambiance in your space. I also like that the light is dimmable so I can use it for a reading light at night without being too overwhelming. I find that the light feature has been great for an easier and less abrupt wake up in the morning. Overall, I think this has benefitted me in my morning wake up routine. But I also love the other features such as the alarm clock, variable lights, charging port, and reading light features.
