This is a well thought out trimmer. While for me its use will be primarily for trimming my beard, sideburns, and mustache, it is a nice addition to my arsenal of hair cutting products. Please note that this trimmer does not come with attachment guards one might see in competitors’ products for shaping longer hair styles. For example, I use a one-inch attachment on my old trimmer to cut the hair on top of my head. Still, what this Bevel trimmer does, it does very well. The trimmer was designed to run on battery power alone, and a full charge of its lithium powered battery affords approximately 8 hours of use. As a comparison, one of my older trimmers offers just 2 hours when fully charged. And with the Bevel running 6k+ strokes per minute, it is darn powerful. Should you charge the trimmer and then leave on an extended trip, this unit can sustain its charge for up to 180 days. One unique feature of this trimmer is the ability to adjust to zero-gap simply by unsnapping the cutting head and spinning the scroll to the right (located on the underside). The more you spin to the right, the smaller the gap becomes. Bevel really did put a lot of thought into designing this trimmer. For example, if you’d prefer to hang the trimmer rather than laying it down after use, simply remove the battery (bottom of the unit) and fold out the hidden hook. Then, replace the battery. Easy as pie! The unit itself feels well balanced in my hand, allowing for a steady cut. The on/off switch is located at the bottom of the trimmer, so you won’t accidently turn the unit on or off by accidently pressing the power switch. Many trimmers have the power button/switch right in the middle of the unit where your hand sits. The cuts have been extremely consistent. With my older trimmers, I found myself often redoing an area due to inconsistent trimming. Not so with this trimmer. This unit arrived with a 60% charge, and to fully charge from this point is estimated to take around 2 hours. When it is time to recharge the trimmer, a White flashing led will appear indicating that you have less than 30 minutes before the trimmer shuts off. For me, this is a high-end trimmer. It feels great, is well balanced in my hand, and works as I would expect a high-end trimmer to work. Based on my use thus far, I am happy to give it a 5-star review.

Their pointless to buy you can’t even change or sharpen the blades smh total waste of money

The trimmer is very easy to use. In your hand, it feels natural and extremely comfortable. My nephew, a soon to be barber, used this trimmer and is ecstatic with it’s performance. The precision of the cut is excellent. The lines he was able to create were much more defined and clean in comparison to other plain, much more basic razors and blew them out of the water. The trimmer is really easy and convenient to charge and the battery life is excellent. In addition to the nice cut, the trimmer does not over heat and maintained a cool temp while in use. It is definitely recommended for amateurs and pros, I don’t think anyone that puts this to good use would be disappointed!

This product is pretty heavy duty. It makes great lines and trims your head well. Don't use it elsewhere on you body as it will leave it looking like it was whipped with a stick. This is not a body trimmer. The purpose was vague in the description which is why I give it three stars. .

I decided to test it today. The look of this certainly does look premium top of the line quality. Love the pulsating charging indicator while it’s charging (steady lit when it’s fully charged). So I decided to “shave” (or go over) my head with this, setting the adjust of the blade trimmer to pretty much all the way down, to I guess a bit below “zero” if that’s the correct term. It feels close to bald, or say in between bald and using haircut clippers that cut closer than zero. Very easy to clean and comes with a mini brush, oil for the blades, and carrying pouch. And I’d keep the box too. Thers samples of some sort of face gel/wash. I have also trimmed the line of my beard down with it also, and my sideburns. This could be it, the last trimmer I’ll ever own and get replacement parts or new parts of need be. I look forward to using this weekly. Once again, top of the line!

Pay attention before you waste $400 on this lemon: stupendous motor, tough working clipper blades. But: (1) hair length attachments DO NOT securely attach by magnet and instead, shift around; (2) the "gap adjustment" that allows motorized adjustment of the blade length freezes up after a while (beyond the first year or so) and the blade remains STUCK on its closest lenth while the l.e.d. indicates otherwise; (3) oiling or greasing the mechanism does not help and oil leaks all over the outside of the device. Thus, the mechanism is seriously flawed and the versatility in terms of hair length is also seriously flawed. Try BabyBliss Pro instead.

Use this to help trim my side burns and around my ears. Clean lines and looks professional!

I don’t know about Zero Gap, but these are the best trimmers I’ve ever had and I’ve been shaving since I was a teen and I’m over 50’

This is one the the beat looking trimmers on the market but that’s about all it has going for it. The cut was not up to par with other much less expensive trimmers I’ve used. As for the battery life didn’t see any significant increase over others in the market. Also it does not come with any type of accessories. If your a professional barber I could see that’s it’s durability would be appealing however for the causal user there are much better and less expensive options
