I saw this last week in the theater. Very well done documentary on the band. Great mix of interviews, music, new and old information, and even comedy. Cleared up some misconceptions I had for many years about the band and learned some new information. Can't wait to get this on Blu-Ray to have a viewing for my "non-Rushian" friends because I know that even if your not a Rush fan you will enjoy this film.

I'll start by saying you do not need to be a Rush fan to enjoy this Blu-Ray. This is one heck of a documentary with great video and sound. I think the producers just about touched base on as much content in this disc as possible. The band and everyone involved made this an enlighting experience for all.
I will say I am a Rush fan, which helps, however the amount of info and topics discussed were wonderful, plus loaded with extras.
There is plenty of old unscene footage, as well as new live footage. Some studio footage/pics, personal info on each member, and of coarse some stuff from the road/stage/dressing room, Much that has NEVER been seen before.
The one thing I think they missed, that I think much of Rush fans would have liked to see is: Each member explain and speak of there instrument choice, set up, sound they were going for personally on a musicianship level, and how they physically applied "X" tecnique to reaching the sound they got on a particular song. THAT WOULD BE AWESOME, and think most would agree.
Go enjoy this documentary!

Do you like Rush? Just the greatest prog band in history, that's all.
This rocumentary covers the band from the womb to the tomb baby. What could be better than that? Very interesting film footage and not a lot of concert stuff. This video takes you inside the band and shows their remarkable run in the music game. Still together and playing with the ferocity of 18 year olds. If you like Rush.........get this now!!!
