Great sound, little $$, sized right for Home Thtr

Using these for 2 rear and also got the center speaker. Likely to get 2 more for the middle of my 7:1 environment. I still have my BIC Venturi big floor standing speakers since the mid 1970s and they still sound great. I was excited to see this brand back now for home theater use.

Good budget surround speakers

Great as Surround Sound Speakers
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I originally purchased these speakers for surround sound and have used them for that purpose since day one. They seem to have decent sound quality and feel pretty 'solid' when it comes to their construction. I've owned various BIC America speakers in the past and have always liked them. I'll probably pick up another (or similar) pair for my office in the future.

Amazing versatility
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Currently used as surround speakers in a 5.1 set up. They have good weight so you know the magnets are high quality. Have the ability to work in a 2.1 system with the correct receiver.

I like them, but need to exchange for new pair
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Haven't really had a chance to fully utilize these. I am using them as the rear surrounds. I mounted them, hooked them up, turned the system on and...one of them didn't work. I ran the auto-calibration feature on the reciever, then it worked...for about 10 minutes. Tried it again and same thing. So, I returned them at the store and am waiting for new pair to arrive. When both worked, I liked what I heard. Even with the defective product, I'm a new fan of BIC products. I feel like they are the best quality to price ratio out there.
