A pair of these are great when bought at the right price, I would never pay their list price, but there was free shipping and the price mark was pretty much BOGO free. They are the start of my home theater system that I am building one component at a time and I love them! The one aspect that annoys me is the black canvas grille covering the woofers is see through, but this is very minor. Unless you are buying them just to stare at them, these are a good buy for the audio lover on a budget.

These speakers perform better then my thousand dollar speakers. The highs are crisp and clear and the bass is powerful. When listening to music it's as if I'm attending a live concert. TV and Dvd's are as realistic as going to the theater.

I love my speakers. They sound amazing when I'm watching a blu ray movie it's like being in a theater. Love them.

There is a reason I have bought speakers from BIC America for more than 20 years. Simply put, there is no better bang for the buck. These DV84s recently completed my 7.1 home theater setup, replacing some 6-1/4"-woofer speakers I had been using for several years as fronts. (The 6-1/4" speakers are now my surrounds.) Tall, dark, and handsome, these speakers hand out tremendous performance with crystal-clear highs and deep lows whether listening to music or rocking the living room with an action movie. I'm so glad Best Buy carries this speaker manufacturer; I've been in love with them since I demoed my first BIC speakers against some JBL and Infinity speakers oh so long ago. I see no reason to spend more on anything else.

I'd put these up against B&W 683s any day, yes, you read that correctly. What's even greater is that they are highly sensitive, and do not demand the level of power that a B&W speaker will require to sound excellent. Their only downside is their size and their looks that were more appropriate for the late 80s. I use these in my exercise room, and B&W CM9s in my bedroom.

These are by far the best floor speakers for the price!! As for the other review on these the top two woofers are your actual speakers and the bottom two woofers are your radiators. I have them running on a SONY stereo reciever (that puts out about 110 watts per channel) and they sound amazing. The bass is loud and low and will shake your entire house, you wont need a powered sub either. Sounds great with movies and even better with music. Dont let the lack of a midrange deter you the are there and quite clear. Have yet to get the center and surrounds that match these but I like the old-school stereo effect anyway. Rock ON!

Best set of speakers for the price. Sound quality is unbelievable to me.

Bought a pair of BIC America 8" Tower Speakers from Best buy. I did a side by side comparison with Polk Monitor 70 Speakers. They both sounded great. The Polk ones are a little bit tighter. The BIC ones seem to have more bass. I also took out the front grids and touched the speakers when I was playing musics. All four 6.5" drivers of the Polk speaker vibrated all the time. Only the top two 8" speakers vibrated in the BIC case. The bottom two only vibrated when playing very low frequency sound.

BIC SPEAKERS are good quality, really i could sit you down, blindfold you and you wouldnt know the difference between these and $400 speakers. so dont even try and say different, you prolly havent even heard them anyway so your words are useless here. they look good, sound good what else is there? and these have pretty good bass alone but i have mine matched with a acoustech by bic h-100 and it jams

these beauties are my front speakers in my 7.2 setup.They go as deep as my subs which are Polk PSW 108 subwoofers if i play them in 2 channel mode also in your add it says one 8" woofer but it has 2 plus 2 passive radiators and they sound fantastic. The price was right and the overall quality of the cabinet is solid no exotic woods or anything but at the price i paid for them i was satisfied
