I love TBBT and have purchased every season immediately after its release, so I was excited to purchase Season 8 on blu-ray the day it came out. I am deducting a star because I'm quite disappointed that the set does NOT include DVDs this time. In the past, I've purchased 5 disc blu-ray/DVD sets of the seasons and, at the time of purchase, the description said "5-disc set" for this one as well. I was really bummed out to get the item only to see how thin the box was and, after opening the box and comparing offers from other websites liek Amazon, came to the realization that the Best Buy web description was wrong and that there is no blu-ray/DVD combo set for season 8. I see (2 months later) that the description on Best Buy's website has been corrected. But for the price I paid at initial release date, I expected to get more than just 2 blu-ray discs.

Really, who doesn't love The Big Bang Theory? If you don't, what's wrong with you? Okay, okay, I guess not everyone appreciates this kind of humor (just like I don't appreciate other kinds of humor). But I love this show! It is one of the few shows that my wife and I both love and enjoy watching together! We have fallen love with most of the characters, and are always anxiously awaiting the next episode!

The same cast is all back, except Raj has a new girlfriend. She's not likeable nor funny but that's the only weak spot in the Season. One good episode is a showdown between Leonard's and Sheldon's mother; at least Sheldon's mother has a heart. One bonus on the Season 8 DVD: you get to see a photo of the late actress who played Howard's mother for 7 seasons. She's not at all what I had pictured!

As a big fan of The Big Bang Theory, I've been immensely excited for this blu-ray set. The past seven seasons on blu-ray have had excellent video and picture quality, and the eighth season is no exception. The show itself is in fine form as well, offering laughs left and right. With Sheldon and company providing great stories and memorable moments, I highly recommend this blu-ray set.

We have bought all eight of the available seasons and are in the middle of binge watching the whole set. Have not gotten to Season 8 yet but saw most of the episodes when they were originally broadcast. Looking forward to seeing this season soon. Note that it has been fun to watch the bonus features on the earlier seasons to get the back story on the series.

This is my favorite comedy series on television and I have each of the previous 7 seasons on DVD. Season 8, as was the case with all other years, has great bonus content (including a featurette on Oscar winner Billy Bob Thornton's then-surprise guest appearance) and the image quality of the DVDs are high as usual.

I'm a big fan of the Big Bang Theory, but don't get the CBS channel clearly. Picked up this season prior to watching the re-runs (not available at time of purchase) on FOX or on KICU. There was one incorrect fact spoken by the Sheldon character, but I will try to get on the Big Bang Theory website to let them know.

My family and I love to watch the Big Bang Theory together. Each year for Christmas we buy the latest released season as a present for the family..We spend time together as a family watching and laughing the show. The show always brings up conversations between my husband, myself and our two teenagers.

The dvd's were great. My only complaint was that the boxes of two of the dvd's were broken. I didn't have time to return in the mail but was able to get tbis dvd replaced in the store. The other one was not availble . Th e woman taking care of me at customer service was great. She found an old box thatI used.

Big Bang Season 8 is still going strong with focusing more on the relationships then before (is Sheldon starting to thaw?). And it still has all the geeky/nerdy fun and hilarity that the show is known for. I always pre-order the series as it is one of my favorites. Oh yeah the extras are always good too.

Well, being a big fan of the show, this was a no-brainer. But, the best part was being able to download a digital version, so that I could watch episodes on my laptop while on a round-trip flight across the country. I didn't have to take the disc with me, as I downloaded all the episode. NICE feature!!

Although I am a big BBT fan, I know this is the last of the well-written seasons of this show. The 9th season has started out with a questionable plot line and some not-so-great writing. I would recommend Season 8 but I know I will not recommend any subsequent seasons. Another great show bites the dust.

For fans of the show you will have a blast with this season. I hadn't been caught up for awhile so when i got some time i caught up with the previous season. At the end I wanted to more so when i found this on sale I jumped on it. And i say that this is worth the money and time. Glad to be catching up.

I don't watch TV, let alone buy full seasons of shows. This show is an exception. I absolutely love The Big Bang Theory. The characters are great, the shows are always funny, and I adore Jim Parsons. I would recommend this to anyone looking for relief from the junk that is considered TV today!

This is a series I look forward to every season and am happy that they keep release Blu-ray Discs of the series. So many series only release DVD and in this day and age, it great to know that quality still matters for one of the smartest comedies on TV and now again BD! Enjoy this show.

Not a huge fan of many shows, but I am of this one. As with all the previous releases, these are great and have a few extras on the discs. I'm sure that eventually they will be released as a complete series set with better bonus features, but if you enjoy the show you will enjoy the discs.

I've purchased every season of BBT. For a sitcom heading into its 8th season, it's an old geezer by TV standards, but the writers keep coming up with hilarious stuff. This year there's a little more tension among the characters from time to time, but it ads to the story lines so much.

Burned through this season in 2 days with my wife. Still hilarious with good character development this season. After watching this we are finally caught up to season 9 on TV. Definitely worth buying if you like this show. Just be sure to watch it from the beginning if you haven't!

My roommate made me watch 1 episode and I have been hooked ever since. It makes you laugh, especially Sheldon and you never know what mess they will find themselves in next. I have all of the seasons and love rewatching them as they can make me laugh even after a long day at work.

I love the Big Bang Theory series on TV, it is one of the few shows I find to be laugh out loud funny. And better yet to purchase the series on DVD to avoid those annoying commercials. Best Buy is a great resource for purchasing television series at very reasonable prices too!
