Laura Linney does an amazing job portraying Cathy Jamison who has been diagnosed with cancer; I find her captivating to watch as the character finds various amusing ways to try and cope with her news. Gabourey Sidibe is an excellent supporting cast member who plays one of Cathy's students - she cracks me up and has an great rapport with Gabriel Basso who plays Cathy's son Adam. Cancer is so prevalent today, and this series is a fresh take on the ways in which people deal with it.
