Dee Snider has been and still is a standup and loyal spokesman for Heavy Metal. I will forever appreciate everything Dee Snider and Twisted Sister have done for Heavy Metal, this is why I bought "Big Hits and Nasty Cuts". This album is more than a greatest hits, there are 6 live songs here as well, highlighted by the cover of the Rolling Stones "It's Only Rock 'N" Roll". This song is saturated with the sound and vibe of Twisted Sister, Dee Snider gives this Rock classic Metal attitude. The commercial success tunes are here, yet the real deep album cuts that Rock the house down are present as well. "You Can't Stop Rock 'N' Roll", "Under The Blade", "Shoot 'Em Down", "I Am (I'm Me) and "The Kids Are Back". Twisted Sister gives you the Metal loud and proud with a hint of sinister fun. The live songs are unedited and give you a nice taste of how Dee Snider carries a crowd, you can feel and hear the intensity and excitement build throughout each live song. I recommend this legendary Metal band by the name of Twisted Sister to anyone who wants to listen to great Rock N' Roll.
