If your not familiar with "no laughing library" or "no laughing" (Gaki no Tsukai) from Japan or the comedian Matsumoto Hotoshi then is hard to know if you will enjoy this film. Its one of its 1st film as a director and his unusual comic style is shown through the film. Enjoy the ending that was shot "live" was hilarious. Do recommend to see the extra futage to understand the ending alot more and just makes it even nor funnier. Not recommend for small children, nothing dirty but the cg monsters are odd that it's alittle underwhelming. Otherwise this film is a classic Matsumoto Hotoshi mentally. And only subtitles. If your not a fan or unfamiliar with his comic style, you might find it a little hard to understand the humor and just odd.
