This movie tells the story of Bilal. I was so elated to see him depicted as he truly was...of African decent. This is a story of hope, courage and inspiration.. Great family movie!

I have seen the movie in the airplane to Dubai both in Arabic and English ( I was hoping the dvd version would have the Arabic audio as well but it did not according to what is printed on the cover since I did not open it yet. I was surprised that it was only realesed In a very limited theaters in USA for a few days. In Europe was showing for two months.This movie is the best animated movie production for Bilal one of the closest companion of the prophet Mohammed peace be upon him. It is inspired by a true historical Story about Bilal the companion of the prophet Mohammed peace be upon him. The movie from beginning to end was will done . This movie talk about equality between humanity no mater rich or poor from any ethnic group because we all came from one father and one mother Adam and Eve.

It's a great movie. The Animation and character designs are good, not at all accurate (creative license). The action sceens and some visual effects are the strengths of the movie. The story is great but they really did a disservice to the actual people in history the movie is based on. Bilal's story is a very beautiful and was more about the belief of One Supreme God and his love and loyalty to the Prophet of God, but the creators choosed to focus on the slavery aspect of Bilal. I feel they were afraid that some people will be turned off of watching a movie about a Muslim. But in the end, it was a good watch and my kids loved it. They have watched it several times already. I recommend people to watch this movie but also to read about the real people in the story, it will increase the experiance.

This movie was just amazing, and the animation. It's a very inspirational movie.
