Don't buy these if you have a "Singing Machine"

Just got a Singing Machine for my daughter and since it had two negatrive reviews and two positive I held my breath. The $129 unit IS actually better than I expected, except it has a picture tube display (they still make those?) and instead of reverb which is what even pros use, it has echo which is just a stupid effect unless you're a guitar player. The microphone volume is also low with two different mikes compared to the music. That's GOOD for me, but bad for karaoke.
BUT, even with the Billboard name, these CD's won't track the lyrics right on the Singing Machine. They lyrics are unusable. The Singing Machine demo and online download songs work great...truly a great deal for $129.....shame on you Billboard for using your name on bogus CD's!
