I was an ok movie, but I was expecting more from the film, it just seems like it was one of those movies that should have been made for TV. if you want to see it, wait for it to come to Redbox first, I bought it and wish I would have rented it instead.

I saw previews of this movie on another I watched and wanted to see it; I am glad I bought the movie because it"s awesome and as a Veteran I have been there when things go bad and you have to relive or forget. it's never easy

This was not a Main Stream movie, the story line is good for those who like real life stories of true life within military experiences. I’m not from the military background service I can’t collaborate the story.

The movie does not rate high as far as must see movies. It does depict soldiers issues with adapting to civilian life and the stress of their personal family vs. their military family and how some try to take advantage of those in the military.

The sole reason I purchased this (4K) version of this film is because of just that, this is the gold standard of transfers. It was shot in native resolution and the 60 fps is incredibly emmersive. Simply eye candy.

This movie was the first to be shot in 4k @60hz and it looks fantastic, specially the war fighting scene. Now, the movie it self is bad, very little action scenes 98% of the movie is pure dialog. This come with a 3D version of the movie as well one of the reason that I bought and to be honest is very disappointing, there is 1 to non 3D effects in this film so skip it. Yes I watch both version and the 4K was the most impressive (visual). This also had Dolby Atmos track and is most appreciated during the only shooting scene. The only reason you want this in your collection is to show off the 4K @60hz besides that move on, I got it because it was on sale.

I am probably prejudiced having been in the army for 29 years, but it was merely OK. Interesting approach to flashing back, but it never really grabbed me. The last part was pretty revealing. I think it will appeal more to others.

This combo pack offers you so many options on how to watch the film. 4K @60fps, 3D @24fps, 2D. Totally worth buying just to see all the different ways a movie can be seen with today's technology.

Reviewing the 3d portion. Although it looks very sharp, it is not the flashy eye popping 3d style that I like. A little more subtle than I like it. The movie is not great, but not as bad as some reviews I've seen for it.

Everyone has a story to tell. This movie takes me back my service days in the Army. It helps one to appreciate the life God has given us, and that we all have a story to tell. Great Movie.

My thoughts are just wow and speechless! I was stunned with this 4k film to a point where it hurt my eyes! Only if more films release in true 4k with 60fps will be amazing! Highly recommended!

This movie has Reference picture quality and is a true demo disc. A must-have movie for anyone that has a 4K TV & player. This movie is slow & have very little action just so you know.

This movie shows how America capitalizes on war at the expense of those who serve and risk their lives to keep us safe. Billy is a hero but more importantly he was just doing his job!

it could have been great but it is a lightweight in my opinion. I know that Hollwood is in love with the movie but I am not and should have saved this one for a rental and not a buy if you catch my impression.

I really enjoyed this movie It's centered around a young soldier who becomes decorated with honors due to his heroism and is sent home to promote the military along with his platoon

With the star credit done at Cass is unbelievable that the movie will be so good although it was kind of short and telling the story but is a X military person I thought it was a good depiction it was OK

Liked the high frame rate. The movie overall is pretty meh though.

Gives a view from the eye of the soldier and family as he goes off and fights in a horrible war and how he struggles with coming home to the label as a "hero"

I liked this movie, had some insights that I was not expecting and the format of the movie made for an interesting set up of events. True heroism and bravery.

Movie is never boring, and keeps you interested through it all. Heart warming and gives a glimpse into A soldiers mind about war, brotherhood & family.
