My ceiling is10 ft and the room is about 15 X 15. We turn it on when we get up and it doesn't take long before we turn it off. It works great.

Posted .The user's manual recommends using extreme caution when any heater is used near children or pets, and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended. We do not recommend using this heater in bathrooms. Please call us at 1-800-253-2764 so we may assist with finding another solution for your heater. Compact but efficient heater

Does what it should

With several modes, even being able to blow cold air, so it's a double standard in some circumstances, and even being able to oscillate, it sure keeps you warm without breaking the budget.
