    College dorm use. Worked well cooling their room. They appreciated the fan in the early part of the school year those few scorching hot days.

    Read the reviews before buying complaining that this fan was LOUD. I should have listened to the NOISE. Purchased this for our bedroom to run at night while we sleep. Unfortunately, it'll keep you awake. It is LOUD. On the plus side, it's a great cooling fan for a summer room needing a strong breeze as long as you can live with the noise. For now, I'll simply use it in areas of the house where there's no rest for the windy.

    I needed a fan that would circulate air in a rather large room so I bought this unit. Not so happy! It does move air but not as advertised. Does work better in smaller room. Just be aware of that if you buy it. I got it on sale so that helped ease the disappointment.

    Just got this home. Low setting way too loud to even hear TV without turning up volume very loud. TV is next to fan - when I use TV remote to turn volume up or down, it beeps on the fan & stops & starts the oscillating feature on the fan so there is interference between the two. Higher fan settings VERY loud. Fan works ok as far as putting out air, but watching TV or having a conversation while it's going is bad. Boxing fan up to take back today.
