    I really wanted this fan. My wife and I have a tower fan that's easily 4 years old (or older) and needed to be replaced. This fan came up as a Best Buy Deal of the Day at an amazing price, and I ordered it. Sadly, things didn't work out as planned.... The fan never worked. When it was delivered, there was a sizeable dent in the box, and whatever happened during shipping ruined the fan. The fan oscillated, but the fan motor was completely shot. So, my plan to replace my old tower fan was a complete flop. Would I buy the same fan again? Probably not. I can't say if it was broken in shipping or never worked to begin with, but I'm not willing to take that plunge again. Sorry!
