Vents did not go down far enough

Nice price-not what we were looking for

Great fan
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This fan works great. However putting the stand on without a magnetic screwdriver was ridiculous. You have to turn the fan upside down and attempt to drop small screws in an 1 1/2" hole that is too narrow to fit fingers in. Yes, I know that if i would have used a magnetic screwdriver this would have been avoided but man, was that frustrating.

Buy Something Else

As other people have mentioned, this fan is pretty loud. For some reason, when you turn it on and when it's oscillating, it makes an incredibly loud grinding noise. Sometimes I'm able to make it stop by holding the fan still as it tries to oscillate, but sooner or later the noise starts up again, making it impossible to sleep. The higher speed you have the fan on, the louder the sound, so I guess it's good this fan only has 3 speeds? It's definitely not as strong and cooling as other tower fans you can get for the same price. Also, it sits lower than other tower fans for some reason. The height of the actual fan part isn't shorter than other fans, but its base is not as tall, meaning that the airflow is closer to the ground, rather than higher up where you need it.
