Great graphics! Great gameplay! Great storyline! It has it all!!! The only thing I don't like is they don't offer you online vs. games with xbox live. That really stinks! How can you make a game so awesome without online playability?!?!? One hint for you people who are gonna buy this...DO NOT HARVEST ANY OF THE LITTLE SISTERS! SAVE THEM ALL! IT'S WORTH IT IN THE END TRUST ME!

This is a really well designed game. The graphics are exceptional, there are a lot of areas to explore, the weapons are fun without being an overpowering part of the experience, I just hope that the game doesn't end too soon. Among the graphics are a lot of flowing water and underwater scenes, these can be very difficult to design, and they're exceptionally well done.

Bioshock follows in the tradition of great games like Silent Hill and Condemned (where there is a combination of problem solving, suspense, violence and fantastic storylines), but Bioshock raised the ante quite a bit. Bioshock has a broad range of upgradeable weapons that, while being essential to any traditional shooter, are unique in ways that make them enhance the feel of Bioshock rather than making it feel just like any other shooter. You also have a strong variety of upgradeable powers (called 'plasmids'), as well as interchangeable upgrades to your stats (called 'tonics') that add a RPG feel to the game. With a sophisticated but easy-to-learn control scheme, as well as a virtual inability to die (by means a 'vita chambers'), the game is accessible (and able to finish) to beginners and strangers to shooters, while three levels of difficulty provide challenges for the veteran gamer. An engrossing and original story will keep gamers intrigued, and alternate endings guarantee replays. As with most shooters, there is violence, gore, and strong language, but I never felt it was excessive or irrelevant, but it does have a mature rating. Bioshock is an amazing game and a break from the mold of traditional shooters, and anyone craving an original game should definitely buy it.

The story line was amazing, it really kept me going, but i had to keep the volume down because of all the swearing, so i couldn't really understand all of it, but that is not that big of an issue, just go on Youtube or type in on Google or Yahoo, "storyline of BioShock". To me this game is now a classic and should be in every home. the graphics are amazing and there is PLENTY to explore and discover! And if you have a surround sound system, you will LOVE this game! Some things you need to know: they bomb the f word {for all you little kids out there} ; ) there is no nudity as far as I know {sorry guys} ; ) you can get an achievement by not harvesting any little girls the game is not creepy at all { if you want a game that is creepy play dead space}

If this game doesnt win game of the year i will be shcoked. i was a halo fanatic until i played this game. and now i can proudly say i am a bioshock fanatic. the graphics are outstanding. the gameplay is amazing. there are so many different ways to kill your enemies. and the story is top notch. this is the best GAME i have ever played.

Bioshock is one of the must have titles on the 360. Its a one of a kind fps that combines stratagy with god like powers to create a masterpiece. Bioshock thrustes you into an underwater world by the name of Rapture, but Rapture has taken a turn for the worst, its population is now turning currupt under the power of plasmids (an injectable substance witch grants its user super powers like shooting out electrical currents, or sending fire flying from you finger tips). Lucky you crashes in a plane above rapture and finds a elevator on a isolated little rock in the middle of the ocean. After going down the elevator you arrive in rapture and then the choice is up to you destroy the underwater utopia or help it back up to the thriving masterpiece it was once ment to be. Now as far as the gameplay goes theres nothing to complian about, the graphics leave you breathless and theres just no way to have the same fight twice. The only thing i hated is it was to short, after getting to the end i reall didn't want to stop playing. So if you haven't managed to get this "genetically enhanced" fps then go to your nearest Bestbuy and get lost in the world of Rapture

i was seriously blown away by the game and beatiful graphics of the great shooter game. the gameplay is awesome and the story has twists and turns that make you not want to put the controller down. if you like first person shooter games, this is a must get for your 360 collection. i am on my 2nd time through and still loving it

This is one of the most unique story lines in a game that I have ever played. The graphics are amazing, the game-play and is fun. The only thing that could bother some people is that it doesn't have a online multiplayer, but the campaign is fun enough that it is definitely worth buying. I can't wait for the 2nd one.

If you're looking for a deep, story driven game with cool enemies, battles, and powers, then this game is for you. You can blast through it like any other shooter, or take your time, absorb the atmosphere and pick up on the storyline. There are 3 different endings for you to try and get as well. Highly recommended.

i primarily prefer games not for myself, but for me to be able to play with friends. When i first trid Halo 1, i didn't think much of it, some shooter, more intuitive controls than others at the time, but the reason i bought the xbox 1 and Halo 1 was for multiplayer gaming with friends. Since then i've been hooked and xbox live has recently become a huge draw for me. This game though lacking in the multiplayer department is one of the few games i loved. I'll look at a game, if it says 1 player, or no multiplayer, i'll leave it on the shelf, as i did with this one at first, until i watched as a friend played it. Amazing, the graphics are unreal, the weapons and gameplay are amazing. The sci fi horror is incredible, the abilities you can aquire allow you to have a different experience anytime. If you like shooters at all, like Halo games and Call of Duty games, this is an absolute must have, you collection and gaming experience is incomplete without it. Even without the multiplayer experience matching Halo and COD, you have to at the very least try this amazing game.

Finally a ground breaking FPS. This game breaks the mold of FPS. Its been long time coming for something like this. Its a very twisted story. The graphics are outstanding. And the atmosphire and settings fit right in and make sence with the story. The only down side is no multiplayer. Evrything else is flawless.

This game just flat out rocks. I heard about the type of gameplay from a friend and thought it was kinda cracked out. but i downloaded the demo and man was i wrong. This game passes all expectations. the graphics are amazing, the story is fun, and it gives you a good bit of a challenge. Buy this game!!

Bioshock is the type of game I've waited a very long time for. I've played other FPSs on the 360 that were reviewed very highly but ended up not being my cup of tea so I was weary about this one. Well, this game is just plain awesome from visuals to voice-acting to story.

From start to finish bioshock is one great game that never stops. From the different plasmids and weapons, to the big daddy battles this game delivers. If you have a 360 and are tired of Gears or just getting a 360, you should make this game part of your collection.

well before i got the game i had no idea what it was about except that there were big daddies ( giant armored creatures) and that it was in an underwater city ( rivet city). once i got it i realized that it takes place sometime in the 1960s or so that there are slicers ( was once humans) that are trying to kill you and that the once great rivet city has turned into a dark and dangerous place. at the begining its hard to kill all of the slicers and big daddies until you get the tommy gun. that gun is one of the best things in the game. the games graphics are good but not as good as the graphics of cod mw2 but they still are good. the games plot has you exploring around the remants of rivet city. i have not yet finished the game but what i have played so far it is a very good game and that if you like shooter games you should really consider getting this game and playing it.

The gameplay is great and offers an extremely diverse choice of tactics for any engagement. Furthermore the plot is possibly the most deep, intellectually and philosophically intriguing story line I've ever encountered in a game. Buy it, you won't regret it.

This games graphics are astromical. the water and fire on the fist mission are increadible. The story isnt all that great though. the AI is pretty intelligent but there all look the same. but over all the game is a must buy for all xbox 360 owners.

This is truly a next gen game, beautiful graphics, great game play and story, no multiplayer but this game doesn't need it, 1 of the top 5 games of the year, you can also download the demo off of xbox live to check it out for yourself. GREAT GAME!

If you're looking for a truly compelling gaming experience, you're looking right at it. This is the most driven, intriguing story you will ever experience. BioShock is the most captivating video game ever to be created, and it will go down in history as such. Never has there been a game that weaves all of its elements together so flawlessly. Although there is no multiplayer, the game is worth keeping if only to play through again and again to find things that you may not have come across the first time. Or second time. Or third time. The story is quite long, and never is there a moment you wish you could speed through. BioShock is like a meal at a five star restaurant; you'll want to savor every last morsel for as long as you can. This game will live on as one of the best. Ever. And you simply must play it.

Graphics and gameplay are great. This game is not your typical FPS. It has a little bit of the RPG elements with the plasmids. The storyline is outstanding. If you are having second thoughts about buying this, do not hesitate anymore.
