||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great movie. Clint Eastwood really hit it out of the park directing and producing this masterpiece. Forrest Whittaker is incredible as Charlie "Bird" Parker. Eastwood really did his homework on this one. Very true to the life of the legendary, innovative, and brilliant Parker. Also very true to the other side of his life with addiction and womanizing. This man invented b-bop jazz. If you like movies based on true stories this is a must see.
