We used ours on a number of items, including window quilts, chair cushions, mattes pillow top and some stains on a carpet. For general cleaning, it does a great job when used with the recommended cleaning solution. It does require some hand work, and you have to go over the area a few times. A few extra passes without the liquid in the end will remove excess liquid and allow your item to dry faster. This unit has no moving brush head, so scrubbing is hand work. It is most effective when the item is wet, let to sit a few minutes and then the warm soap solution is being sprayed while vacuuming and scrubbing. For general cleaning its great, for stain removal it will only be as affective as the solution is on the stain, best to get them early.

The carpet cleaner is small and easy to carry around. It works great in my apartment. Completely took out the stains from my carpet that were under the kitty liter box. The carpet dried over night. Clear dirty water container and clear portion on nozzle shows everything coming out of carpet. I love this item.

This works great. We have a puppy, and it has worked out great on all types of puppy stains. Also, my car is 12 years old and it took out stains in the seats that had been there forever! My only problem is sometimes, if I spray on a non flat surface, it tends to shoot out everywhere. But I still love it.

Just cleaned my two sofas and am really pleased how well it worked. I read the other reviews but didn't find their concerns to be mine. Its small, easy to use for smaller projects.

Great product to clean up small stains/messes on the carpet; have used it on main carpet, area rugs, hallway runners, stairs, and in the car. Only issues I have is the constant filling of water/detergent ~ it goes through a lot of product (detergent) in only a small area.

Easy to setup and use, but suction very weak. Hardly any water was sucked into the fill tank, after 10 minutes of going over the same wet sections of chair and couch. Tried on two separate types of material, same thing. It does clean well, but way wetter than I expected.

I had an entire glass of RED wine spilled on my ottoman and area rug, little green took it out completely with ease. It's easy to use and it was easy to set up and store. I was able to clean the entire area rug as well, I love my little green machine.

i bought this to use on my stairs and spot cleaning throughout the house as needed. i did not expect this machine to work as well as it did, i am so glad that i made this purchase. my stairs are finally clean, and i don't have to worry about puppy accidents or hairballs anymore :)

What it is good for cleaning: spilled drinks, right after it happens (don't wait long or this won't work well) upholstery, light spills, What is is not good for cleaning: Dirt ( it is not a good steam cleaner... it takes a lot of scrubbing and not much comes up) any sort of stain- it doesn't get stains up. Basically, this product is good for light spills not deep cleaning. Only use on small areas- the bucket thing fills up quick and then leaks which can cause a bigger mess sometimes. This isn't horrible, but I bet there is better out there.

I got this after reading other reviews, and it was everything they said. I have small children, who tend to spill things, so my living room carpet had various mystery stains. All of the stains are now gone, and I cleaned the entire living room very quickly, and the carpet seemed to dry in a flash. I'm so happy I got this.

This is a great machine that I have used througout my entire house and on my furniture. Cleans a spot in seconds and dries quickly. I debated buying this or a large standup machine. I am glad I purchased this one because I have used it on furniture, stairs and car floors.

From the other glowing recommendations on this site I had high expectations of this product. What wasn't said was that I am supposed to use a special Bissel brand cleaning agent (which I can't find in the stores). Also, after a very short period of time, all of the water/cleaning solution had been used up and I still had a lot of cleaning to do. Why was there very little dirty water in the reservoir? What happened to the water the machine sucked up? The brush and dirty water reservoir are difficult to get really clean. My upholstery did look cleaner, I will admit. Also you aren't supposed to use an extension cord. How do I clean my car out on the driveway?

I have used this product for a few months now with good results. Works great to clean up after cat hairballs. Wish the dirty water tank was a little larger to allow for larger clean-ups. I clean out the hose and dirty water tank after each use by sucking up clean water out of the faucet and then draining tank. Have had no issues with mold or smells. Suction on unit could be a bit stronger but overall gets the job done well.

Easy to use on my carpet. My new puppy makes a lot of accidents but my Little Green Machine cleans up the mess with ease.

If you own pets, you need this. It works wonders on old pet stains and odors along with new ones. If your dog has an accident on the carpet all you have to do is whip out this thing and clean it up instantly - no waiting for paper towels to soak up the mess then trying to saturate it with some other deodorizer. The suction on it is pretty good, too, as it has taken a lot of grime out of the carpets when I have used it. The only problem some people might have is that it does not dry things completely - things will still stay a little damp afterwards, but it gets probably about 90% of the liquid out. Amazing product for the price. I can not live without it.

Great machine for small jobs. I wonder if not bissel solutions can be used.

Although I expected it to perform decently, I was not impressed by the overall deep cleaning performance of this machine. It will definitely for for small jobs, but even with the pet cleaning liquid, it was not fully capable of removing pet urine. On regular spots, however, it did a great job.

This cleaner is good--cleaned up a light colored sofa in my house that was dirty from the dogs walking/sleeping on it. You practically use the whole bottle of soap that is provided with the cleaner in one use though, so you need to buy more right away if you plan to do more than one little thing.

I purchased this as my pet is getting older and doesn't always make it outside. It is great for pet stains as well as food spills. I have also used it to clean car mats and it does a great job.
