Works WAY better than I thought it would. Very happy with it. I have two pugs and a black couch (yes, another poor life decision). Takes about 20 minutes to clean a whole couch and then build a small lifeless pug with the hair collected.

Our dog and cat both shed like crazy. We have a dyson for cleaning the house but were looking for a handheld to be able to clean the furniture and stairs easily. Debated investing in a handheld dyson but didn't want to spend the $$. Saw the reviews on this one were solid and figured we would try it out. This little thing blew me away. Easy to use - more than does the job and easy to store. We loved it so much we went and bought a 2nd one to keep upstairs.

The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser is a great little hand vac. The vac is very powerful, light and easy to use. I like the attachments, especially the flexible rubberized "eraser" attachment which makes picking up pet hair a breeze. I used this Bissell to clean up cat hair from my microfiber sofas and I really like the little nobs at the end of the rubberized attachment because it grabs the hair and moves it around enough to allow this powerful vac to suck it right up. If I had one complaint, it is that it takes more time to clean stairs due to no spinning brushes, however, this also means no spinning brushes getting stuck or clogged. If you have a pet hair or just want a superior hand vac with some serious power, then this is your best bet. This little vac is leaps and bounds better than a rechargeable but does require to be plugged in.

I bought this unit primarily for dust bunnies and car cleaning. Although I do have a dog, he doesn't shed. I have discovered it's also great for my shag area rug. Because of its high pile, my regular vacuum doesn't work because of the beater bar. This one works like a dream. I simply drag it along the rug and it picks up any debris that was tracked in. It has very powerful suction. The long cord is a winner also. It also works great in getting between the sofa cushions. Definitely a multi functional tool I'm glad I bought.

The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser Bagless Hand Vac works very well. The contoured pet nozzle attachment has rubberized bristles that grab pet hair and dander from low, medium or high pile rugs. Works on bare floors too! There is hard nozzle included to pick up spilled pet food. An added feature is the 16ft cord. The Bissell Pet Hair Eraser is an extremely effective hand vac. It is a must have vacuum for any household with pets.

The cord was long enough to do the job and the hand vac was not too heavy. I had pet hair from long ago on furniture and hand vac pulled it up. Easy to clean.

Great size, great suction. Great item. Only it is a bit loud. I use it to clean up cat litter on floor and it works wonderfully

I originally purchased this vacuum to clean my couches because my upright vac wasn't cutting it. Little did I know that 2 weeks later we'd be adopting a kitten who likes to make a mess, especially around his litter box. This vacuum literally sucks! It makes cleaning the sofas really easy and it works great on pet hair, litter box messes, and food crumbs.

I bought this vacuum for removing the dog hair from my steps which are carpeted. It works very well. There is no rolling brush of any moving parts, just a rubber boot that lifts the hair and dirt enough for the suction of the vac to get it. This is my 2nd one. 1st one lasted about 5 years. The rubber boot on the bottom tore and the dust flap inside fell off. Replacement parts are available, but for a few more bucks I got a new unit. I use this vac almost daily. We have 2 dogs and there is always hair on the floor year - round. I will probably buy another when this one eventually fails if Bissell keeps making them.

Pros: The price and size of the vacuum make it great for fast and easy cleaning pet hair around the house and car. Picks up dog hair really well when the using the contour nozzle. The long cord makes it easy to maneuver without having to find a closer outlet. The debris is easy to clean from the container. Cons: The handle is a bit uncomfortable after a while. The rigid attachment does not pickup dog hair well. Picking up dog hair from right angles with the contour nozzle is nearly impossible.

It sucks up dog hair from my couch. It's cheaper than buying rolls of tape all the time. I really like how well it works.

For it's price and size this is surprisingly really powerful and easy to clean. The only draw back is the fact that the vent does blow the dirty around making you do a lil extra work. Overall I am satisfied worn those product.

Comes great suction!! This works perfectly for getting pet hair off some of the furniture and does a great job of getting cat litter out of the carpet!

Great product. Good suction, long power cord. Nubs on nose help loosen hair. Easy to clean out. Two lap dogs (Bostons) plus white couch: no problem! Works well on car carpets, too. Very satisfied!

This is a great machine for quick pick ups. The pet hair attachment really helps with on the furniture.

This vacuum is a great value for the price. I have 3 dogs and 2 cats that love to hang out on furniture. I also have a large upholstered sectional, an oversized upholstered arm chair, a 6 foot cat tree, and multiple upholstered surfaces that are covered in pet hair. I used to have a Dyson handheld (I also bought from BB), and the battery life would not last long enough to clean all of these surfaces. What attracted me to the Bissell was that it has a long power cord and from the reviews, it seems like it's a very powerful vacuum. So far, I really love it. It gets out dirt and pet hair easily. It comes with two different attachment heads, and 1 of them is pretty good on upholstery. I can vacuum all of the surfaces for as long as I want. A few things that I wish Bissell could improve: -the air that comes out of the exhaust is extremely strong and blows hair everywhere. I have to hold it at a certain/awkward angle to prevent this from happening. I am not sure what to suggest in order to fix this though, but this is why I am rating a 4 instead of a perfect 5 stars. -I wish the handle was a bit more ergonomic, but it's not too big of a deal.

I bought this to clean up my Shitzu's hair off the furniture. It does the job, and it has a nice long cord.

I struggle with cat hair on my furniture and have found the best tool to get it up is a rubbery pet hair brush I found elsewhere. Then I saw this and decided to give it a try. The nose on this hand vac has the same rubbery substance and so I thought it might work and it does pretty well. And vacumes the hair at the same time. It is corded which isn't the best but probably has more power because of it. Overall it did a good job.

My big vacuum gave up on the pet hair a while back and even though it cleaned all the dust and everything from the floor it did not want to pick up the dog hairs from the couch. So I read great reviews and even though the box was dusty and looked old when I picked it up the vacuum was perfectly working. I was able to get all of the dog hairs off the couch easily! It holds a lot of power and definitely will be telling friends about it.
