Love the features and it's great at picking up pets hair. Have 2 dogs and no complaints.

So I had a upright that stopped working and since I had originally purchased the upright I had since put in wood floors. So now the only thing I need to vacuum is the area rugs I have. 2 People + 1 Giant Bernese Mountain Dog in my house. I got this vacuum because of the claim of the pet hair removal. I saw the contraption on the front of the floor attachment and it seemed like it would work. Pull back and it grabs the hair push forward and it lets go of the hair for the vacuum to get. Only thing is, the vacuum never got it. I vacuumed the whole rug and ended up with a big black line of Dog hair at the edge of my rug. I then tried the wand with out the attachment and it still didn't pick it up. I even placed it on the highest suction setting. It just wasn't doing the job my upright did. After getting most of the Hair and Dirt from the Rug, I went to empty it. The canister is very small that holds the dirt. Plus its not a simple one button release. You have to unsnap it and then turn it over and empty it. Not Convenient at all and pretty messy. I'm on my way to the store to return this after I finish this review.

I purchased this vacuum a few weeks ago and have been very unhappy with it. It is poor quality - cheap construction. I have a small dog that sheds frequently but this vacuum doesn't pick up the dog hair at all! The sweeper part is cheap plastic and doesn't have much suction. I am returning it to the store. I have bought another vacuum to replace it.

Order for direct ship and arrived with most attachment parts missing. It's really cheap plastic and none of the attachments are motorized. Bought it to pick up dog hair. Since none of the attachments don't actually do anything, you might as well just use the hose.

I did not care for this item at all.....was not what I was looking for in a pet system....I have both a dog and cat and it wouldn't do the job it claimed it would.....I would not recommend this item.

I bought this canister vac today... it worked very well. I have stained concrete floors and 2 rooms carpeted... it did very well on both. It actually pulled the hair off around the baseboards... that has been an issue with everything else I have tried. It seems to have great suction, and there was no dust flying around. I will buy it again. The only thing I don't care for, the cord seems shorter than most.. it could be a little longer.

I replaced an upright with this model. Loved the features like the retractable cord, telescoping wand, easy to clean, quiet, etc. the power was good too. the main cleaner head does not have a rotating bar with bristles and we tried hard to use it on one of our rugs that gets pounded with dog hair and it just couldn't do the job. Will buy one with rotating bar with bristles. The main attachment has the garment brush "pet hair eraser" part as well as the stiffer black bristles that you can raise and lower - good features and would probably work best on higher carpet with little wear/traffic. if you have very little carpet, need something for lighter duty, this one is for you. I rarely return items but because you don't buy vacume cleaners often, it's best to make sure you get the right one.

I usually dont write reviews but I had to for this one ! If you have thick carpets do not buy this vac. I used it and it hardly filled the canister and when I saw that. I knew something was wrong because I had not vacumned for a week due to a broken vacumn. Looked at the bottom of the wand to see why it wasnt picking up and it was clogged. I had to stick my fingers in there and clear out the clog ! Worked ok on bare floor but not for carpets !!!! Its going back to the store today ! Oh and the pet attachment did nothing !!!!! Thumbs down Bissell ! Do they even test this products before putting them on the market ?!!!

This vacuum broke very shortly after purchasing it. It's cheaply made. It never worked that great even when it did work. Best Buy won't do anything about it not working, Bissell won't do anything but send me to a vacuum repair company that wants to charge me to fix it. So much for guaranteeing products. I'm disappointed with Best Buy and Bissell. It was a huge waste of $161 (with tax and shipping). Save yourself the grief and buy a Dyson.

I have 2 large dogs and needed something that could pick up dog hair. This just pushed visible piles of hair around the floor. I used it once and exchanged it for a different brand. Very disappointing.

I like this vacuum cleaner overall. My home has all carpet and does a great job getting the dog hair out of the carpet. The only issue I have is I wish the cord was longer. Other than that I recommend this item.
