I bought this vacuum about 6 months ago. We have 5 cats, so I needed a reliable vacuum and this one is perfect! After 6 months, still just as good as the day I got it. It works great, powerful suction, easy to maneuver, excellent cord length, and gets the job done with ease. The lift off canister is great for when you need to get along the edge of the floor in hard to reach places or vacuuming cob webs from the ceiling. The vacuum cleaner head pivots and I was worried it would be annoying, but it is actually awesome. The pivot head is not so loose that it pivots on it's own, but just the right amount of tension so that it only pivots when you want it to. This is great because I can actually vacuum under the coffee table in the living room without having to move it. Since the head of vacuum is so thin, I can easily get under the cross members of the table, pivot, and get completely under the table. This is also great for vacuuming around the dinning room table and chairs. I would definitely buy this vacuum again and highly recommend it.

I'm very happy with my Bissell PowerGlide. I've had my Bissell several weeks now and it's performing wonderfully. I live in a small cabin and I needed something that was going to allow me to vacuum tiles floor, carpet AND walls. Bissell's liftoff technology allows me to really move around the cabin and dust, vacuum and clean up any dog hair. The unit comes with the pet and corner attachments. Bissell's PowerGlide performs great - the price point is good. I would highly recommend this product if you need a great vacuum that is great on any surface.

For a mid level priced machine it performs well. Wife likes the long cord and how easy it is to empty. She’s not crazy about the weight or handle position.

Good cleaning / heavy - makes it harder to maneuver - really picks up the hair - long hair still winds around brush - like bageless - lift off handy - vac attachment hard to work with - think hose needs to be longer and handle shorter with firmer grip.

This is one of my first Bissell purchase, along with their steam mop. It is powerful and perfect. I am in a new apartment and the amount of hair from my dog (boxer mix) it has already picked up, as well as dirt, is incredible. I use the detached portion while I vacuum the stairs and all the attachments work well. It creates a really nice, fresh smell with the filter attachment, this paired with the steam mop after makes my floors look incredible and the place smell fresh. I don't really like how the power cord is placed but other than that, highly recommend.

I purchased this vacuum over others based on reviews I'd read. I don't have a pet but I figured if it was strong enough for homes with pet hair, it would be good enough for me. After the first use, I was pleased with the pickup (as could really be seen in the clear tank). I didn't even realie there was that much on my carpet and it got it all!! I will say it's a LITTLE heavier than what I would like. Otherwise, I have no complaints thus far.

I have 2 dogs, that really shed in the winter. My other vacuum just wasn't getting the job done. But this vac does. Thank you Bissell.

I purchased my vacuum mainly for pet hair removal on floors and furniture. So far it's gone great on the carpet and furniture. I may not have the setting the way they should for hardwood floors but it does just ok on those. That is still better than nothing. I really enjoy how light weight it is and the ease of use.

By far the best vaccum I've ever had. Very smooth and the ability to detach and handle the stairs is the best.

Searched for a new vaccum to replace my old one that died on me. Settled on this one and have not been disapppointed on my choice. Does the job and well

This is the second Bissell unit we have owned. The first one served us well until the external agitator brush broke. Everything has worked great for 5 years until daughter graduated college and now is moving out! (YES!) So she said she needed a vacuum cleaner so I cleaned up the old one very well, replaced all the filters and bought this new unit. Comparing it to the old (model 89q9) with this one is very drastic change to say the least. But will say it is a lot quieter and lighter than the old one. The motor offers more amps than the next model up and does not have a front light (big deal). The unit works great! The power cord is longer than my original but it fits a little tight in its holder. Getting used the swivel action is interesting but get the concept when making tight turns. (Sounds like I am driving a sports car that sucks!) Anyway, the collection bin is slightly smaller and seems to me that I had to empty it more frequently. My thinking is this new one is picking up more than the original one was. The external agitator tool works great on stairs and like how the main piece separates from the base so you can take it with you on stairs. (both models I own have this feature - a MUST) I do like the snazzy way you can empty the dirt from the container without getting it on your hands, just make sure that you tap it slightly to release more of the dirt. There is an extra tool that comes with it called the "pet hair eraser tool" that works okay , but takes some getting used to. Anyway, for the price of this unit, you really can't go wrong and highly recommend this if you have pets and don't want to fork over $500 for a Dyson.

Great suction and all the different attachments, very easy to use

So far the vacuum has performed very well. Suction has been great and the tool attachments are an added bonus.

We have dogs and dust bunnies,and this vacuum works great.

This Bissell PowerGlide far out preforms its price point.

Love it. Easy to use and transport around the house. My daughter loves the scented filter pad.

Really cleans my rug great. Have lots of dog hairs & sucks them all up which my old vacuum cleaner never did. Takes a little getting use to the swivel.
