What can be said about Miles Davis that hasn't already been said? Not much. He was the master of his craft and this album shows him embracing a whole new side of experimentation. Somehow an album that is now 50 years old still sounds like it is from the future. Make no mistake, this is nothing like A Kind of Blue. This is experimental fusion jazz that might not be for everyone, but it shows that Miles continued to be the kind of cool and could do it all.

It's hard to say why this album is so good.
If you like Miles Davis then you probably already know about this landmark recording.
The LP pressing I received is in good condition and plays well. Sounds terrific.
