This film was... weird. I picked it up on a whim not knowing any more about it than what was written in the cover. The acting was sub-par and it is pretty much predictable as anything *vague spoilers* (girls go on vacation to party, they go trampling through the jungle to sight see off the beaten path, someone gets bit, everything falls apart and chaos ensues). And there's goo... lots and lots of goo. This is sort of reminiscent of the Fly but not as high class. An Indie creature feature that isn't bad to watch if you're not looking for too much as far as plot. And if you like goo. I'll mark this as I would recommend it to a friend only because they don't have a "meh" button to choose from. (Basically I can't say I wouldn't recommend it to the right person.)

Chad Archibald and Black Fawn Films delivers an over the top gross out horror flick with bite. While on vacation Casey is bitten by a bug and slowly morphs into a bug after returning home. If having second thoughts about her up coming wedding isn't enough Casey starts showing unusual behavior and lays gooey eggs all over her apartment. One by one Casey starts feeding on her concerned friends.

While I expected more, in terms of wow and Ick factor, it was still a perfectly enjoyable, and silly little romp. A simple story, and nice little throwback to B movies of yesteryear...it wastes no time getting to the point, and has nothing to say beneath its surface...exists purely to gross you out and impress you with its practical effects. The acting satisfies but is nothing special.

This is a plot about a vacation gone really bad. It's more than memories that the main female character brings back home. Insect Bite that proves lethal to her and her friends. It gets really gory and sticky and slimy. At the premiere at a Canadian Film Festival , there were ambulances called due to some audience members reactions. A horror genre film with Gusto.

I'm always looking to make my own indie horror discoveries and BITE is a fun, Canadian offer full of great practical effects and top notch production design. Disgusting in its own right and really different in its presentation of found footage for the 1st act and polished anamorphic widescreen goodness. The tagline doesn't sell the movie well. The slipcover says: YOUR FEAR IS HER APPETITE. Meh...if they consulted me, this movie would fly off the shelves with: IT'S JUST A LITTLE BUG BITE.

Safe story. Pretty good gore and character transformation sequences. Like a not as good modern day version of the fly. Most of the characters made the exact opposite decisions as what 100% of the general population would make which made it somewhat frustrating.

After reading several good reviews, I expected the movie to be much better than it was. The amount of gore was decent though.

Makes you think twice about going on vacation to a tropical destination, gory scenes and good afffects. Has replay value...

Pretty Good Movie, Lady Is Bitten By A Bug And Becomes One Herself. The Movie Itself Was Good, But The Gore Was Great!

Never saw previews for this movie but I have to say it was great. A must watch if you like these types of movies.

The movie starts of a bit slow, has decent acting, then really picks up with gore and some twisted scenes!

A twisted horror fim with enough gore to make the squeamish turn their heads.

Not really worth watching unless you don't have anything else to watch. Don't like the shift between found footage camera work and steady cam.

if you like scary movies this is the one for you. It's pretty gory too.

These titles are very hit and miss. Story and acting not to great. Petty boring for the first half. The gore was pretty decent though.
