Love the thermal carafe. No need for warmer and doesn't have "old coffee" taste after sitting for extended periods. Being an all day coffee drinker, it's exactly what I need.

The Black and Decker 12 cup coffee maker is stylish and it brews quietly. The thermal carafe keeps the coffee hot for a couple hours. The digital display is a little dark making it kind of hard to see. Other than that, I love it. Also, I like how compact it is; it fits nicely under the cabinet on my counter.

Makes an excellent cup of coffee! Love the carafe and simplicity of the coffee maker!

I bought 2. These replaced the standard 12-cup brewer. But the thermal container is the best. No longer worried about over cooked coffee.

I would have loved this coffee maker except it only made one pot of hot water then totally died.. I took it back to Best Buy and order something else.

We loved the concept after having looked at lots of new coffee makers. The first week it was great, then it literally started falling apart. If you make a full pot of coffee (10 or 12 cups), it always overflows the filter so there are a ton of grinds in the pot. The "float switch" in the lid stuck in place, closed of course, and we ended up with 10 cups of coffee all over the counter and floor. At that point the maker could not be used unless watched for fear of coffee tsunami. Finally had to remove the small plastic part inside the switch in the lid in order to use the pot at all. The thumb release to open the spout when you pour the coffee then broke so that you had to physically pull it back with one hand while pouring, otherwise it would not open and the coffee simply came out of the float switch area on the top (remember we had to remove the part of it to make it work ). Concept was great, but after owning it a month, it was simply not usable any longer.
