First of all, I like my coffee maker, pretty easy to use and I like the auto-on function as well. I would give it 5 starts, however; the only problem is that once your coffee is brewed and you try to open the top lid to clean it up, the water that is under the lid makes a mess. It spills most of the water to the back of the coffee maker, sometimes, not a big deal for the price, but a little bit annoying.

the Black and Decker is simple to use, good for both regular and decaf and the 2 hour shut off is a great feature.

Good: - it does the basic coffee functions - you can set a auto brew time - carafe holds 12 cups Bad: - steam can leak out of the top - the carafe handle feels weak (to me ) when the carafe is 12 cups full

We needed to upgrade our coffee pot at the cabin and were looking for a programmable unit with a low profile to fit under the cabinets. This B&D was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. And unlike other coffee pots I’ve programmed, this one was so intuitive, so easy, that I managed to do it in about a minute without looking at the manual. Performs flawlessly. Makes great coffee.

This coffee maker does exactly what I need it to do. It makes 12 cups, turns itself off in 2 hours should I forget and I can program it to start so the coffee is ready when I lumber into the kitchen each morning. Easy to clean, easy to fill (water and coffee)...A Best Buy!!

This is a very good option for an inexpensive coffee maker. It does what it needs to do, which is brew coffee, but it also has an automatic shut-off which most other inexpensive coffee makers do not. It also brews quickly and not with much noise. The only complaint in the top fill water reservoir which makes it inconvenient to place on the countertop under a cabinet. Also, the condensation on the inside that drips on counter when opening water reservoir after coffee is brewed to empty grounds and filter out.

Our regular machine (Krups) started having issues when brewing either half pot or full. Stopped by Best and the Black &Decker 12 cup programmable caught my eye. Nice design, goes with most decor, and B&D is a well known name . Very easy to set up and use. Controls are simple and coffee is well brewed, the coffee temperature and flavor is right and it is faster than my former machine. Welcome to my house B&D!

Works good makes hot coffee and the price was right. Only wish it was quite when brewing, very noisy!!!

This does the job! It was inexpensive and has the one feature I need in a coffee maker...the auto brew. I load it up each night and wake up to fresh hot coffee. I've been using it daily for well over a month now. Coffee is nice and hot too.

Call me old school but I’m not a fan of Keurigs and this product allows me to program a time for the coffee to start being made, so as soon as my alarm goes off, coffee is ready to go in the morning. Small and practical to use.

Small and very compact for the number of cups it makes. It doesn't take up much room on the countertop. It works as it should. All the functions work as they should. I am happy.

Bought this Black and Decker 12 cup coffee maker its great it has a clock on the bottom front of the coffee maker base to set the timer when you want to make coffee or just turn it on and make it instantly and grab a cup while it brewing it stops until you put the glass coffee pot back on the base. Easy clean up and you do have to use coffee filters with this one. would recommend this coffee maker.if you just want a good cup of coffee and that is simple to use.
