This without question is the best hand vac I've owned, and I've owned several over the years. The suction power really is like an upright, even on carpet and rugs and the unit holds a lot of debris before you have to empty it. Surprising is the pivoting head, which allows you to adjust the hose, and that really helps for hanging storage. The unit is bigger than most hand vacs, so you have to be strategic about where you hang it. Other points to note are the noise level of the suction and the relatively short battery life, but these are small issues. All in all, there's no reason to buy another vac. Others may be cheaper, but in this case you get what you pay for.

I was skeptical of the product, but the reviews were very positive. It works great and has a terrific amount of suction. The only down sides are that it is loud and heavy, but I would not hesitate recommending it at all. It really does the job!

This is my first hand held and I like it alot, it's great for those quick and easy clean ups. The suction is strong enough to pick up most anything on the floor/carpet. The only downside is that it's a bit, heavy, bulky and load. Besides that, it's a good vac. I would recommend to anyone.

It has only been in operation for two weeks, but so far so good. It picks up a variety of stuff off wood floors and carpets. It is a bit heavy and bulky, taking a more space than traditional shaped handheld vacuums on its charger stand. It does require a bit more wall space to hang it as you must remove it from the stand from the right side instead of straight in front. We like the indicator light that shows that it is properly placed in the charger. No more guessing. Overall we are pleased with its performance.

I bought this cordless vac for picking up small messes. I don't have kids or a dog, just a cat who tracks kitty litter everywhere she goes! For what I need it for, (kitty litter, crumbs, dust bunny's under the bed, automobile...) it does the job, and the few things that are not so great about it is trivial compared to how it performs.

Its a lot better than the dust buster from the 70s in terms of suction. Just mount it out of the way and forget about it until you need it. We bought it to vacuum stairs with (have two sets) and it does ok with those. Even better for a quick vacuum after the car gets messy inside. Easy to empty.

We previously had a dirt devil handvac that was okay for the little stuff. We recently put in laminate floors and use a microfiber dust mop to dust the floors. We also have 2 dogs, a toddler, and live in a very windy, dusty city so our house is always covered in dog hair, dust, rocks and crushed crackers. This hand vac is perfect for picking up what the dust mop leaves behind and getting all the stuff out where the baseboards meet the floor. I'm so glad we found it! We always keep it plugged in and on the fridge so we've never dealt with a lack of power or the battery failing.

We are very pleased with our purchase of this hand vac. It out-performs our expectations for a hand vac by far. It has extremely good suction power and in addition to its features of being cordless and pivoting, it comes with two attachments that we find very helpful. It fits compactly on its charging stand and it is also a breeze to empty and clean out. We love having the option of making quick pick-ups without having to get out our large vacuum, but have also found it useful in our regular housecleaning to reach tight spots, drawers, etc. If you're looking for a high-quality hand vac, this one will not disappoint you.

This vacuum is surprisingly powerful. I use it almost every day, either to keep my car clean or to clean up dog hair or bird seed "spray" from one of our many bird cages. It has two speeds, the lower one is sufficient for most tasks, the higher one is good for tough to reach places in the car. The battery life is amazing. I can virtually clean the house and the car on a single charge. Summary: Pros: powerful, versatile, long battery life, works great! Cons: you do have to empty it out regularly, and it's best done outside as it does collect a lot of dust. Overall: a superb cleaning product

We bought this to replace an older model and we were very pleased about its performance as compared to our previous model. Not too sure we like the fold up part and hope it doesn't cause problems down the road.

Very good hand vac. Really strong suction. I often only need to use the lower setting. The only downside is that it is really loud. However, I think that is a fair tradeoff for a hand vacuum that works well.

I have mostly used this hand vac to clean my car. It has great suction power (two settings - high and low suction). However, the battery only last for approximately 8 minutes when used on high power suction setting. Overall though, it is the greatest portable hand vac I've ever owned.

I do a lot of research before making purchases and decided on this one.I have only had the B&D Pivoting Hand Vac for a couple of weeks but love it so far. The low setting picks up things like dog hair and light dust along the floorboards. The higher setting will pick up larger, heavier pieces. While it's a little on the noisy side (which ones are not?) it's meant for touchup cleanups, so it's not running long at any one time. I love that I can pivot the nozzle to fit at any angle that works to get behind toilets, around trash cans, on top of cupboards, etc. I would purchase this one again.

When our hand vac died, I researched a replacement. I found this one and the user reviews were almost uniformly positive. I decided to purchase it, and so far have been completely satisfied with it. The folding design makes it compact to store yet it unfolds to a variety of usable shapes. The filter compartment is easily opened and cleaned. My only reservation is that it is powered by a NiCad battery rather than NiMh. However, only time will tell if that is truly a negative feature. In short, I would purchase this hand vac again. So far, it has lived up completely to my expectations.

I bought this item a few days ago. It works powerfully very well. Only issue is that battery life is very short. I charged it for the whole night, and it lasted for 15-20 mins. So I bought a 15-feet cord from Lowe's and now I don't need to charge it. I will write more as time goes on.

This handheld vacuum is great! great design and suction although it is not really meant for carpet. it does everything else!!

This handy cordless vac beats out any other I've ever used, in ease of handling and excellent suction.

we had the dyson it did not pick up that well, bought this one and works 100% stronger then the dyson

I research just about every purchase, and rely upon other users reviews, specs, and ratings from companies who compare products. This vac meets all my expectations. I use it in conjunction with my upright vac for the house, and for cleaning out my car. Overall very satisfied.

bought one for wife about 5 years ago, still going strong, no problems, use everyday. just keep the filter clean. we are recently divorced, so i ordered me one today at a very good price from best buy.
