Enjoyed watching Black Lighting, I can't wait till season 2 comes out to purchase and to add to my comic superhero DVD, Blueray collection.

This series is awesome because it shows the origin of the awesome hero, Black lighting.

I wish all superheroe shows tell a story like this one. Just get it, you won’t be sorry

Black Lightning is a great show and great addition to the CW's superhero lineup.

If you can get past the sheer preposterous idea that nobody recognizes Black Lightning despite the character's distinctive beard and facial features, Black Lightning is actually quite watchable TV series. Although it's based on a lesser known DC comic book series, it doesn't tie in with the other CW shows, and as a result has created a unique tone all its own.

The political slant might not be for everyone but this show is very well done with a good cast.

Terrific beginning season, very curious to see what they do next

Black Lightning is a CW show, that they say doesn't take place in the Arrowverse (arrow, Flash, Supergirl, Legends Of Tomorrow) but the first season is awesome, great build up, great characters, very Mature for the CW. If you like Arrow I would Definitely recommend checking this out. Picture looks great on Blu-Ray. Very happy with this show from DC Comics, looking forward to see what's coming in season 2. Originally produced for Fox television, Fox changed their minds and CW picked it up, Fox is now kicking itself for turning down what may possibly be the best Superhero show on television. With a mind blowing premise, phenomenal acting and a stunningly realistic portrayal of a real Black family, Black Lightning was the surprise hit of the season!

I'm not gonna rule it out just yet, because most new shows have to be allowed time to find its way. From what I can tell, its getting better and better. To me, it kind of started off with everyone trying too hard, but as time went on, it seemed like everyone became a little more relaxed, and more settled into there roles. ...Can't wait for season 2.

first off,bad costume,worse than the one in the comics. Put that very slight distraction aside and you will find this to be an EXCELLENT tv series. Even better and more intense without the annoying commercials. Good writing,good acting and,well...I can't wait for Season 2 !

It's Black Lightning, come on.. If you're a fan of the work The CW puts out, then you know that this is an amazing show. It's also good to see positive representation for the black community and that's a step in the right direction.

To me this show reminds me of The Arrow why you may be asking its simple it give a more realistic view of being a super hero well as much as can be with being a work of fiction it never seems to be losing site of their goals
