I bought the first season not knowing anything about Black Lightning. My grandson and I started watching and we are hooked now. This is our own thing that we share and it means a lot to me. Hopefully he will remember watching this great superhero with Granddad. Love season 2.

Black Lightning is a great addition to the Arrowverse officially now thanks to the Crisis On Infinite Earths crossover event this currently airing season.After a good first season,I thought season 2 is even better.The only disappointment with this release is that I assume due to season 1 sales,this went to a MOD release for season 2 and only on DVD.

Now this Series is awesome excellent great super fantastic terrific very cool yet still brand new but it does kick butt and take names. The CW does have another Winner on the Network! This is another CW Verse formerly Arrowverse connection I highly recommend seeing/watching this Television Series plus collecting it with the others from the CW Network!!

Still trying to find its way a little, the second season plot twists set up some potentially great story lines and better define the characters. Some of the acting leaves a little to be desired and I'm always frustrated/disappointed when too much time and focus is spent on the characters' personal/love lives. Example: Alex Danvers character in Supergirl. WAY too much time spent on her personal relationships story lines.

A great series, well acted. Both gritty and heartfelt. Very real in terms of characters and milieu.

Fantastic series!!! Does really well as a series on its own but is a bonus when combined with other DC series!

The dvd is excellent in content with great quality. It was also received ahead of schedule.

Awesome 2nd Season to a newly added "Arrowverse" show thanks to "Crisis"
