    I have never understood why this film received so little acclaim. I am not a thriller fan and quite frankly avoid suspence as I have enough in my own life. Not an adrenaline junkie!

    I remember seeing this three times in the theater when it was release back in 1989. I enjoyed it then and I have enjoyed seeing it again after so many years. If you like a good police drama, definitely check this one out. It also is good that this is a cheap buy at $8.99.

    Black Rain is a great movie period. The bluray quality does not disappoint and you can spot more details vs DVD. I would add this to the collection if your a fan of Michael Douglas and action films.

    S movie made for Michael Douglas. A story that centers on two New York police officers who arrest a member and will escort him back to Japan. Once they get there, he escapes, and the two get dragged into the Japanese underworld.

    I've waited for the blu ray version of this dvd for the longest time. When I saw Best Buy had it for a fantastic price I had to have it.

    Michael Douglas is a conflicted cop in a foreign land trying to work in the confines of how the local law enforcement operates. All while battling the local mob.

    Love Michael Douglas and Andy Garcia. It's not as good as Rising Sun but it's still a good movie.

    A great older movie. Michael Douglas kicks it in this one. I was happy to add Black Rain to my collection. Will watch it again and again. This is a must for any Michael Douglas fan.

    I saw this movie when it came out and hadn't thought about it until I saw that Ridley Scott directed. Great director and great movie. Classic Michael Douglas.
