This is a great show but the discs are very hard to get out of the sleeves in the dvd case. Having multiple discs skipping scenes in all 3 seasons on different dvd players.

At this time, I haven't viewed this season. I'm hoping it is as action packed as its previous season.

I bought the Blu ray version of it and Disc 1 Played normal, but Disc 2 and 3 didn't play at all on my PS3... normally all Blu rays will play on it, I went back to the store and they gave another one and the same thing happened... its looks like its not content... or they blank!!!

I am a big fan of the series Black Sails so I was anxious to view season 3. After my purchase I put Disc one in my player and after the previews the disc failed to load. I tested it in a different player in my house and it still would not load. I returned to the store and exchanged for a new box set. Disc 1 loaded and played without problem but disc two froze up about mid-way through the disc. I bought a new box set (my 2nd purchase, no exchange this time) and got to finish viewing disc 2 without incident. But while viewing disc 3 it once again froze up. But since I now had TWO box sets I tried disc 3 from the first purchased set ... it would NOT play either!!!

I received my copies of Black Sails seasons 1 - 4 for my birthday. Seasons 1 - 2 were great. Season 3 would not work in my downstairs Blue-ray player. I took the copy to our other player and it started to work until in the middle of the episode it froze and got all pixilated and lost sound for the rest of the show. It was purchased by a relative for me back in February for my birthday here in April so there is no chance of getting this rectified by Best Buy...so basically i'm stuck with it. Bad copy and very disappointed....happy birth day

It is ok for being a Pirate series. I like the storyline and the characters are very cool!

This is a great show that looks and sounds amazing on blu ray. Unfortunately this season freezes, skips playback, and has trouble loading across multiple blu Ray players. I am currently in the process of trying to get a replacement set from the distributor.

I bought this set and when i tried to play disc 1 it wouldn't play i returned it to best buy they gave me a second one and it did the same. I have a sony BDP- S5200. I then decided to buy a BDP-S6500 and it didn't play it either both units played disc 2 and 3 no problems plus other assorted blu rays. I have a dinosaur Sony BDP-S1 that i had retired and tried it on it and it worked. For some reason it won't play on new units??????.

Season 1: Great. Season 2: Amazing Season 3: Builds upon both. One of the best shows, comparable with GoT.

This is such a great show! I'm fully invested in this show and can't wait for the last season!
