I had listened to this album on Spotify and fallen absolutely in love with it. I've been a fan of In This Moment since I randomly picked up their album "The Dream (The Ultra Violet Edition)". I was browsing the store and saw that this particular album was a special edition, and had two bonus tracks. Anytime I can get bonus tracks, I am going for it! And this album, "Black Widow," does not disappoint! From the searing music to Maria Brinks ripping vocals and the lyrics that have a way of explaining just how we feel in certain moments. The album is said to be about a time of change--one woman's journey through the light and the dark. I think this can fit anyone. Of all the tracks on this album, I feel the most connection with "Natural Born Sinner". It resonates with me on such a deep level, and I thank Maria Brink for that. If you're a fan of their previous album "Blood," you will probably like this one. If you're a fan of "The Dream," but not of their other work, you may not enjoy it as much, but I ask that you at least give it a chance.

I love In this Moment. Ive loved them since the beginning. Their debut was incredible. Their next several releases were fun to listen to as the band tried new things and found their sound they wanted to pursue. I feel like this cd is In This Moment in a nutshell. Its got everything. Even a duet with Shinedown! The only thing that bothers me about this band is how its ALL about Maria Brinks and her image. It didn't bother me as much when she used to try to look hot. Now its all about looking scary. And it makes them look like a bunch of posers. I went to their concert and it was incredible...but it was all about Maria and her outfits. Im not hating on the band, and Im still giving this 5 stars, but come on. Go back to how you guys used to be.

Ive been a fan since before they even dropped their first album when i saw them live opening for Kittie. Marie grabbed onto me for like a whole song... Goddess reincarnated. This album is by far their best. Production on it feels a little like they took inspiration frm Rob Zombe which makes sense since theyve evolved their live shows into what id call a Zombie replica. They need to keep pumping albums out like this. Pure bliss and greatness. Must buy

I have seen this band three times and have never been disappointed. However, you never know what you are going to get or what things the band may have changed with a new release. This release did not disappoint. They stayed true to their roots and delivered a great album. Maria Brink and the band actually write songs about things that matter and provide an element of hope for those going through troubled times.

I have to admit I love the Blood album, and when I first heard it I took to it right away, but this one has a very different sound. When I first heard it I wasn't crazy about it, but it sort of grows on you the more you listen to it. Now I absolutely love it! I love the depth of it and the different sound and the ballad. Maria's voice is very powerful in this album. I love that this band keeps changing up their sound and evolving.

Love ITM and most of this new album. The majority of the songs are right in line with In This Moment's unique music style which can't be duplicated by any other artists. I have followed them for years, however I'm not a huge fan of their slower songs which lack music and sometimes sound pretty much a cappella - had there only been one song like this on the album and not multiple songs, I would have given the album 5 stars.

I looked up this band on yoputube and had to buy this cd, I'm glad I got it at Best Buy because they had a great price on it and it said if I bought it at BestBuy there will b two extra bonus tracks on it, I looked at other stores and they didn't have that special bonus track offer :) so buying it at this store really lucked me out ;)

I want the old In This Moment but with that said, this is excellent. They have became very theatrical, both visually and in their writing. It's true, I prefer their first few albums, but this absolutely deserves an A+ for effort. I am interested to see where they go from here. Maria Brink is extremely talented

Every song is sounds like it could get played on Octane (channel 37 on Sirius XM radio). It is a nice change from their last album Blood. Blood was good but Black Widow is better. Music and singing taps into a variety of genres of the music industry.

This is different than Blood with a mixture of both heavy songs and some softer ones, but I still love this cd. I didn't hear of them before Blood but this cd keeps me a fan! They have become one of my favorites and for me it doesn't disappoint!

New to In This Moment but upon purchasing this release I was glad I made the purchase. This disc showcases various different styles of hard rock/metal that will have you wanting to turn up the volume on your stereo. Highly recommended!

A great ride. Maria has such a huge range in her voice! Although this album has a "different" sound associated within the Alt Rock category, listening a few times makes one realize the great musicality of the album!

Absolutely amazing album, and possibly In This Moment's best yet. Maria Brink and crew manage to deliver a spectacular blend of modern and classic metal sounds for an overall mind-blowing listening experience. 10/10

This cd doesn't stray from the formula that has worked for them in the past. It comes at you hard and steady and has been a great addition to my collection. Give In This Moment a listen, you won't be let down.

Continuing their sound change from the previous album Blood, expect a piercing look into the mind of Maria Brink in one of their more personal albums. Still not sure how I feel about that final song, but the rest is solid new music.

I've been obsessed with this album for MONTHS, and purchased from Best Buy to get the bonus tracks. They were so worth it! The whole album is sexy, emotional, and so different from anything I've ever heard.

This was an awesome In This Moment album!!!!! I couldnt wait for it to come out, i went to best buy the day it came out & got it, always buy new albums at best buy, but this CD is great start to finish.

i feel like this album is beautifully written and well thought out. it shows the bands talent very well. it is one of those albums that you can listen to without skipping any songs.

A well written and well produced album. From the time they changed line ups it feels like they have been growing into what they want as a band and seeing the live shows proves it.

I like it, I liked the last record Blood and this is much of the same. I would like to see them expand to go back to a little bit of the heaviness of the first record but still good nonetheless
