The KeyOne is a superb phone! It does everything well and the camera matches up well with the pixel and iPhone! Also the battery life can last up to 2 days without charge! Highly-rated and recommended.

I couldn't wait to get my Blackberry Keyone! I ditched the Iphone and I haven't looked back. It's a functional phone that is perfect for my needs. Pros: Keyboard Android operating system Secure cell phone Cons My phone has a yellow line down the screen on the center right. I'm returning it for another one tomorrow. Delivered late.

This is an awesome phone. Read the reviews and then bought the phone. I've been very impressed.. Screen-awesome; speed-awesome; battery life - awesome. Very smooth and durable. I've drop it atleast 5 times on concrete and all is good. Don't listen to the static. If you want it get it. Great phone.

Fantastic keyboard. More functional and customizable than I would have ever imagined. The ability to create short cuts and quick keys is awesome. For instance, I can select "f" to go directly to Facebook or "y" for YouTube and so on. You can also swipe up and down on the keyboard to scroll. Lots of functionality. I've never had a Blackberry, never even played with one before. I was drawn to the straight forward, skin free Android experience and it delivers. One thing that sticks out is the blackberry hub, which pulls all of my documents into one accessible location. I was hesitant to use this at first, but I have found myself utilizing it regularly. Expandable memory... I forget how wonderful this is coming from Apple and Nexus/pixels. I will have a tough time going back to phones that don't include expandable memory. The phone feels exceptionally good in the hand. They found the perfect size and materials. Nice classy lines, grippy back. The camera has been good, not insanely perfect but solid. I believe it has the same sensor as the pixel and I'm happy with the results.

I used to be a loyal BlackBerry fan, but had to move on a couple of years ago, since the Priv keyboard and overall functionality wasn't great. I went to Android (OnePlus 3T recently), and even though I loved some aspects, I just cannot type a full email or lengthy text with the same speed and accuracy of a good physical keyboard. This keyboard is just about as fast to type on as my old 9900 and Q10, and I need this for long, technical, work emails. I think the camera is fine (but I haven't tried low-light pics yet), and the browsing and overall smoothness is good. I have experienced a few lags (maybe a dozen over the last 2 weeks, where I can notice the slight difference between the speed of this and my prior phone. It has been overall fantastic however, and battery life isn't an issue at all. I get maybe 1.5 to 2 days of charge pretty easily. I highly recommend it to anyone who is on the fence, particularly if you were dissatisfied with the Priv.. this is a very different phone, and you won't be disappointed.

I bought this phone for myself because several of my friends got it and it was completely different from anything else out there. I am completely shocked that I love this phone as much as I do. I'm constantly using it and literally can't keep my hands off it. Typing on a physical keyboard is something I have never done before and the accuracy is unbelievable. I love this phone!

Pros: - Good keyboard - Nice size. Cons: - It's 2017. The display can be better. A lot better. - Touch soft-keys can become annoying. Like really?!? - No power button on top. Awkwardly on left side. No bueno for righties. - Is that Pleather?!? Even though it doesn't look cheap, phone feels cheap compared to other $600+ devices. - Camera is horrific in low light. Now I need to buy a Lumee case. Despite all these cons, it's a great fusion of all that we love about android and blackberry. I'll be patiently waiting for the Keytwo while jumping on and off this phone. :/

I can't find any flaws about this phone except for inability of cordless charging. The battery life is AMAZING, which is probably a trade off for inability of cordless charging. I'm not a heavy user, but whatever I need to do the phone does just smoothly, never any issue with anything. E-mails, Google apps, Youtube. I always kind of liked Blackberry phones, but the Android functionality was definitely what I was looking for. And this phone has it all. Love it!

Fantastic battery and superb keyboard. I switched from an iPhone and have not regretted my decision. Run do not walk to get this phone. It is well worth the wait.

I am a long time BlackBerry user who historically really enjoyed the company's hardware as well as their software. Over the past seven years I have owned at least 6 BlackBerry devices including the Z10, Q10, Z30, Passport, Classic, Priv, and most recently the KeyOne. I think it's unfair to compare this device to any of BlackBerry' s BB10 devices as it's an apples to oranges comparison especially when comparing a BB10 device to an Android device. That being said, this is not your dad's BlackBerry device. While it looks like a BlackBerry through and through, the defining feature (the keyboard) is below BlackBerry standards. Subjectively I prefer the KeyOne's keyboard to the Priv (too cramped and little travel) and to any of the Passport models (too awkward), but it's glossy finish, non sculpted keys, and "hallow" typing experience makes it a far departure from the best in class performance of the Bold series, Q10, or Classic. I should say that this phone's physical keyboard is technically "best in class" as there is not much competition to be had. Keyboard aside, what most disappointed me with the KeyOne was the phone's performance. Out of the box, I noticed this phone was at least a half step behind the competition. I thought I could overlook the fact the KeyOne has an older processor given the trade off for battery life, but found the phone would lag severely even with moderate use. The lag and app crashing was considerable enough that I tested different launchers and non native BlackBerry apps in an attempt to optimize the phone's performance. Ultimately I realized the hardware on this phone was no where competent enough to support current user demands. I should mention that the KeyOne's battery is as advertised (sort of). I did not experience the legendary 2 day battery performance as many KeyOne users have reported, but admittedly, battery life can vary very much from person to person. I can attest to getting about 16 hours of moderate use with most days having enough battery to get through a 6 AM to 10 PM day. The last area I would like to address about this phone is it's camera. As many know, the KeyOne has the same camera sensor as the one on the award winning Google Pixel. Despite having the same sensor, the photos produced by each phone are quite different. The KeyOne can produce good photos, and at times even great photos, but as a whole it lacks any real consistency especially in low light. This definitely is the best BlackBerry camera ever, but like the keyboard, that's not saying much. In a market where there are three to five Android phones with cameras as good or better than the IPhone's camera, being OK just doesn't cut it. All in all, this phone is a miss. I cannot recommend it as it does not provide any standout feature, even for BlackBerry legacy users.

This is my third BlackBerry, recently upgrading from the Passport. Unfortunately, this phone is a total letdown for me. I was waiting patiently for it while Best Buy got more inventory and it didn't take long to hear people on the other end of calls saying, "Hello?," "Hello, are you there?" "I can't hear you... are you there?" In addition to that, one day I was getting nothing but dropped calls, which AT&T indicated when I called in. Between calling AT&T to see what the issue may be and swapping the SIM card back to my old Passport, I soon realized the KeyOne has a MAJOR reception problem. I see others are having a great time with their new BlackBerry, but for those of us who are getting the bad reception with the phones, it's a completely different story. Taking the issue to a search online, I found some very helpful information! Because the review guidelines on here state they don't want you posting URLs in reviews (otherwise, I'd just post the URL here), just do a search for "BlackBerry KeyOne Reception." You'll find some interesting reading about many others who are experiencing this horrible issue. This morning, I called BlackBerry directly and they were able to take me through a few steps to activate what is called "Developer Mode" on the KeyOne. It was then able to export a log file which was sent directly to them for analysis. BlackBerry is promising a response within 48 hours. I'm NOT holding my breath for any wonderful resolutions here. More than likely, I will be sending this phone back to Best Buy and unfortunately, start looking at Samsung phones. BlackBerry, you really let me down here. So much for outsourcing the production to another company!

I have used Blackberry phones exclusively for years and wanted to like this phone but its reception was so poor that I returned it. I would get no bars in areas where I had reception with my Q10. Calls dropped in areas where other people had no problems. I loved the bigger screen and Android but it just did not work as a reliable phone.

I bought this phone back in December of 2018 for use on the Verizon network. Right out of the box the space key on the keyboard was sticking making it almost impossible to type text messages. Then that same key failed to work at all. I wanted to bring the phone back to Best Buy but their return policy did not allow a return. If I had activated the phone earlier, I may have discovered the problem earlier and met the requirements for a 14 day return. So I was left with option B, Blackberry Support, or should I say non-support. So far two replacement phones were sent to me both of them could not read the SIM card and could not be activated on the Verizon network. Each time I went through this process of getting a replacement phone it took 3-4 weeks to receive the new phone. If you buy one of these phones from a store like Best Buy activate the phone right away if it works thank your lucky stars, if it doesn't make a bee line to the nearest store for a return so that you do not have to deal with Blackberry's support personal.

First off the phone is not true android. Then a couple of weeks ago the screen fell off. After reading up on the phone this is a common issue due to blackberry not adding adhesive to attach the screen. Going through the process now to try to get the phone repaired/replaced which is not easy (especially since they are located in Mexico -- even though blackberry is located in Canada).

After getting my first replacement for screengate, a patch they provided stopped all bluetooth and wifi functionality. Every time I open a ticket, it takes them weeks to respond, causing cases to last for months. Pathetic support, pathetic updates, pathetic blackberry
