Not a full action movie, but one that has some action mixed with lots of suspense and intrigue!

Blackhat, directed by Michael Mann, may have bombed at the box office, but it's still a solid effort. After a computer virus causes a meltdown at a Chinese nuclear plant, the FBI and Chinese authorities team up with a convicted hacker (Chris Hemsworth) to find the suspect. While not as strong as Heat or Collateral, Blackhat still employs some stunning HD photography of locations in Asia and a couple of crackerjack action sequences. If you're a fan of Michael Mann, you'll enjoy Blackhat. No commentary from Mann on the disc (a real disappointment), but there are several solid short extras.

did not order when first released then saw a few scenes on tv and bought Blu-ray ,glad I did

Chris Hemsworth (Thor in the Marvel movies) does a excellent acting job in this movie as a computer expert that is put into prison for hacking crimes. A computer hacker criminal is on the FBI's most wanted list and they must have a man with his skills to hunt him down. Much more complex than this simple description of the movie. Lots of actions and suspense.

Very current plot with a different twist and plenty of action. Chris Helmsworth is great along with his female Chinese counterpart. This movie is probably more truth than fiction with the ability of foreign parties to hack into US and foreign govt's facilities to extract money. Well done and worth watching.

I thought this movie was pretty good, but I did think it would be a little better. It was slow moving in some parts but overall a pretty solid movie. Its good to see Chris Hemsworth in a role other than Thor. It's definitely worth adding to your collection.

It was a good movie and not what I anticipated but at times, I was bored. Hubby liked it but he fell asleep thru part of it. After all, when you are use to watching him in Thor, watching this character was definitely different.

This was a very good Michael Mann movie, but at the same time typical of his work, though I thought Heat was much better. Chris Hemsworth and the rest of the cast kept you entertained. This was a good popcorn movie, that moved along nicely.

I'd never heard anything about this movie until it came out on DVD. Thought I might be taking a risk when I bought it; but it was surprisingly good. Great story line and packed with action; kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time.

Good action movie with twist of plot. A number of details are very realist and accurate. There are a few parts with internal computer chip processing that could be dropped and make it somewhat better movie. Still totally worth watching.

It was an interesting story. I am a fan of Chris Hemsworth. I wanted to see him in an other than "Thor" movie. The movie was a little weak at times. It was entertaining so I guess that is all that matters.

Personally, I liked it in sprite of the poor reviews the "critics" gave it. Sometimes, it's just good to relax and enjoy a movie instead of analyzing it.

I just bought this yesterday, so I haven't watched yet. However, i heard it was good so I bought it.....because it was on sale.....and I figured for $14.99 I'd take the chance.

Another action packed suspenseful movie! For those who look for thrilling action packed movie with lots of suspenseful filled scenes, then I recommend this movie to you.

This movie is a good movie overall it just has to do a lot with coding if you don't know how to code you can get lost in the movie trying to figure out what's going on

A lot of non techies slept on this . Starts slow with tech talk, (shows how hackers move). BUT once actions kick in - u will wet ur pants. Enjoy.

Well, lookie here, Thor in a different disguise. The movie was good. I wish it had been in 4K.

Black hat hackers are all over the world now causing havoc all over. You wonder what is behind some of these guys - pure entertainment or pure evil. Watch and see.

Hemsworth always delivers, and carries the movie, as he does in this action-packed movie. Appealed more to my 20-year-old-son, but great scene at the end.

Good storyline, good acting, a little tedious in places but not hard to follow. Some of the jargon was confusing but don't have to be tech savvy to enjoy it.
