Blackstar is a beautiful departure album from David Bowie. He eerily foreshadows his own passing throughout the surreal and spacey album, and simultaneously delivers stunning instrumentation. A must buy for any David Bowie fan.

As this turned out to be David Bowie's last album before his untimely death, it is a fitting ending to an amazing career. This album take off from his surprising 2013 album, The Next Day, but it goes deeper. Highly recomended.

We have listened to this CD over and over and highly recommend it. Bowie has always stood alone in his creativity, and this CD is spot on with his history. The only regret is that we will never get another one from him.

If you grew up listening to the multiple incarnations of this musical genius, Black Star did not disappoint at all. It is said, however, to see this as his goodbye to us all. Bowie did things his way, and this album is a prime example. Definitely worth listening to.

It was pure David Bowie. Very deep lyrics from a deep artist who was sharing his thoughts at the end of his days with us.
Thank you for sharing yourself with us one last time David Bowie. I will never forget you

Fans of David Bowie will be able to wholeheartedly embrace his last cd with an excellent title track and a very talented line up of musicians. The saxophone pieces are some of the best I've heard on his cd's.

Hard to believe this is the final David Bowie album, but it is one of his best. Incredibly seductive sound structures throughout and stirring vocals. it is Bowie on top of his game as the master chameleon.

Released mere days before this legends death, this is a fitting testament to the music icons legacy. A somewhat haunting album, its solid for someone who.was so sick during the making of this. I could only wish I go out like this. Hats off to you Mr. Bowie!

Black Star is a moving, moody tribute to David Bowie. As a fan for decades, I feel it depicts the true Bowie - a visionary musician who never fails to not only entertain, but to make you think and dream.

After being away for a while, Bowie's latest and last album is a great piece of work. The lyrics read David Bowie was writing his goodbye album and is eery but interesting at the same time. Give it a couple listens and I know you will be fond of this album

Obviously Bowie knew the end was near when he set out to record and produce this CD. Job well done, a perfect departing gift for the Bowie fan as well as future Bowie fans. Farewell Major Tom!

If Mr Bowie was not dying from cancer very likely this album would not exist. Brilliant album befitting a genius talent up until the end. Definitely one of his best of all time. RIPBowie

David Bowie has had some great albums and songs. I especially like this one because it was his final album. The first 2 songs are especially powerful. I definitely like those the best.

Some explicit lyrics and situations, so not recommended for younger listeners. I took off one star for that. However, this is a great album for Bowie to give us before he left us. His art was challenging and unflinching to the end.

Bowie made this album knowing he was going to die. I feel it was good bye to his fans and one time to change his music again. Back to jazz.
I wish him happiness in his new home.

Have every Bowie album or CD made. Had to get this one as soon as possible. Made it to many concerts in the earlier Bowie days. Great concerts in those days. He will be missed.
