Love this album. I bought the LP to add to my Bowie collection when i saw the die-cut cover and knew it had to be a part of the collection

Great bowie album! Definitely 100% worth it if your a fan. Also his last, so that's gotta count for something too

Looked for this album for my granddaughter and the next best price was $25 more then they had it at Best Buy

Had to get this when I bought my new turntable. Bowie is a legend. Great final piece.

If you’re a Bowie fan, this is a must have from his discography. This album is tragic, experimental, and inspiring. Every album of his is different in the best of ways. One of the very few artists that have changed up their styles every album and still maintained their roots. David Bowie was such an amazing musician, artists and person. Thankful that he left so much for us to listen to and enjoy. Hope to one day accomplish the same things he has.

This album is clearly the work of a person who was looking death in face. I wanted to listen to it a few times before posting a review. The music is atmospheric and dark and the lyrics indicate to me that Bowie felt cheated by the impending end of his life. Listening to the album is an interesting and somewhat challenging experience, but I don’t think I’ll be doing it very often. On the more positive side, even though the digital download code said it had expired, it still worked in November of 2017.

5 years ago on January 8th 2016, David Bowie released Blackstar and passed away two days later, it was ultimately revealed that he had terminal cancer and so the entire albums concept revolves around his death. Bowie looked into the abyss and said "I can use this". Blackstar is a masterpiece. Also within the cover are hidden easter eggs, I wasn't sure if they were on the repress but I have found quite a few which adds a whole other dynamic to buying this album

This has got to be one of the best albums I've ever heard. This is truly a terrific album Bowie was able to put out there before his unfortunate death. Any lover of music will enjoy this one. As far as the quality of the record goes, this is the heaviest, smoothest, and overall best quality record I own. This is 30 bucks for just a single LP, but it also comes with an art booklet which includes photos of Bowie and lyrics as well. This is a must have for anybody.

If you like Bowie's work then you most likely have already added this to your collection. If not, give it a listen! Regarding my purchase: My packaging was bent and damaged and I did not receive a discounted price (shame on you BestBuy). My vinyl also did not come with an mp3 code, even though it stated that it would (and again, Bestbuy is of no help). Unfortunately, in retrospect, I would have gotten the album somewhere else.

Love the sound and the story. A real album with every song a keeper... My copy is slightly warped though, and the center hole has some manufacturing quality issues. I'm thinking of asking for a replacement for that reason, but I still give this final Bowie record an A! My favorite track is "Lazarus", the 3rd track, which never fails to give me chills. The first line he sings is "Look at me, I'm in heaven!"

I bought this album from Best Buy because i found it accidentally. David Bowies last album was an absolute masterpiece, from beginning to end. Talks about his life in the most artistic way possible. Wether you like the style of this last albums music or not. It is a must have for any Bowie fan.

I have this album on C.D, and I just purchased it on Vinyl, so happy I did, the album package is top notch, and the album on Vinyl sounds so much better. After almost 4 years since Bowie passed its still a sad thought that we will not get any new music from him.

My son was surprised I found this at Best buy. I have listened to most all of the songs on public Radio since it was released Glad I bought it. I am giving it to my son for his second record in his collection.

A beautiful farewell to Bowie. Was so lucky to have found it at my local best buy after searching every local record store for it. Incredible quality, a must for Bowie fans.

Started buying vinyl again so i figured i would get the wife some David Bowie, good album to get. New vinyl or old vinyl, it takes me back to my teens.

Purchased the late David Bowie's "Blackstar" vinyl LP record at Best Buy. The lyrics are haunting, especially knowing that Bowie was terminally ill with cancer while recording this, his final record. The record's label was slightly damaged (ripped) for some reason fresh out of the package, but there was no damage or warping of the playable surface otherwise. I believe the ripped label occurred during the manufacturing process and no fault of Best Buy. 5 stars for the music. 4 stars for the damaged label.

Such a unique and emotional last album by one of my all time favorite musical entertainers.

Been meaning to buy this for awhile and glad that I did. Been a fan of Bowie for a long time and this is a great vynyl!
